Mod doesn't seem to be working for me, even though the person who uploaded it ported over the violent human voice pack and that one has been working just fine. My fella just doesn't say anything when I replace the voice files. What could be the reason?
This is an absolutely fantastic replacement for the brave voice! I was never a fan of how the original voice was trying to force themself to sound aged. Was too over the top for my liking. If you plan on adding more of the glorious voices of the Grey Wardens, I personally recommend both genders of the elf Mystical voice as replacements for the Pious voices. I would do them myself, but I'm unfortunately not too skilled with modding.
Yeah I never liked any of the male voice sets from Pathfinder. I've been thinking about modding more voices from DAO into WotR, I'll see if I get around to it.
This kind of voice modding isn't really that difficult. Just really tedious with some trial and error.
A few of them are okayish, but far from what a game of this scope deserves. Which is one of the reasons I appreciate bringing the glorious voice acting of my favorite Bioware RPG into this game. The passion of those lines helps me get into the character I made with that voice in mind much easier.
And I may give it a try once I have free time. Something which my classes sadly have left me little of. XP
Something is wrong with that filedropper site that I saw linked in your other dragon age voice pack. I tried to follow the link on reddit, it brought me to a main page instead of the posted url. I tried to make an account, even tried to do the payment, but despite trying to make an account TWICE, it not only didn't let me login, but it wouldn't even let me request a password change. Just kept getting a 'request failed' message.
I assume you're talking about the wav converter, right? Yeah that used to let you freely convert however many files you wanted without payment and the need to make an account. Seems like they've changed it since, which sucks ass.
It might not since this mod simply replaces an existing file rather than making use of the unity mod manager. There is how ever a mod on this nexus that re-enables achievements even if your save is modded. So go ahead and install that one as well just to be sure.
