About this mod

A very small addition to the modding scene as this pack brings 10 new portraits for your character creation process. All images are made with Playground AI, however they're originally screenshots from Skyrim captured by myself and based on various characters I've created for my short stories and novels over the years.

So, ten AI portraits based on my Skyrim screenshots. I'm well aware of the many small anatomical issues, weird eye colours, wonky facial lines and such, but even so, I do feel these portraits add a specific vibe that I personally find quite suitable for the game. I've used mostly Oil Painting shaders, mainly because it takes me back to the good old "Baldurs Gate" portrait serie that I enjoy so much. So yeah, the classic old game has been a great influence when creating these portraits.

All portraits are made from characters I've played in this game, and mostly so when doing yet another dungeon crawl in the rogue-lite mode. Funny thing though is, that I've mostly played this mode in Pathfinder: Kingmaker since the endless dungeon idea is quite appealing when testing out some fresh characters, but I find the character creation a lot more detailed and fun in Wrath of the Righteous, so I've created each and every character even for this game, ready for a dungeon run.

I've started by going through my Skyrim creations and people who know me from the Skyrim side of Nexus understand this means a lot of characters. I'm going from the top alphabetically, so these are the first ten and if the download interest is big enough, I might bring on some other portrait packs to follow up on the serie. It's mainly for my own use though, as the style might not be fitting for others, especially since some portraits are made with lack of details or include blurred areas. But again, I like such half-made portraits for some reason and therefor, I've decided to upload them in my very first - small as it is - mod.

The pack includes ten portraits, five male and five female:

*1 elf female sorceress - Seeker
*1 halfling female ranger
*1 human female fighter
*2 human female witches - Elemental Witch and Witch of the Veil
*1 human male cavalier
*1 human male fighter
*1 human male ranger - Nomad
*1 human male shaman - Possessed Shaman
*1 human male hunter - Stepplander

These are the classes I've used to play these characters as they're best suited to their background from my writing, but of course you can use them for whatever class you find is a better fit. If some portraits are not to your liking, just delete them from the pack and keep the once you will actually use. I know all too well how easy it is to grab a lot of portraits and then you sit there with tons of them that will never find a character match.

As said before, all portraits are re-worked versions of my own Skyrim screenshots, done with the Playground AI.

Installment procedure

1 - Download the file
2 - Open the .rar file and you get access to all the subfolders created for the character portraits. I've tried to name them according to a suitable class/race drop in the game album.
3 - Place or copy all the subfolders you'd like to add to your game to the following adress on your harddrive: C:\Users\[Your Username Here]\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous\Portraits
4 - Check them out in the game and feel free to add a new adventurer to your gameplay based on the portraits you've just added.

As this is my first time uploading a mod, I might have done something wonky, so just call me out and I'll try to fix it. Thanks for downloading my pack and like I said, if the interest is there, I might consider adding more from time to time. I mean, I've got 400+ character made for Skyrim so there is plenty of portrait material that's hopefully both unique, diverse and fun to use!

Best of luck in your dungeon runs!
