Great voice pack. The Dragon age voices packs have always been my favorite and stand way above what we have access to in vanilla WoTR. Pleading with the mod author to tinker with the Experienced Male Human voice pack so I can get it working for my paladin since OwlCat broke everything, and maybe if I'm lucky port over the Cunning Human Male voice too.
Sorry I posted this on the Kingmaker mod too, I meant to put it here, but the sentiment is the same across both! Thanks again for the work though. I am only just now properly getting into the game and its entirely because I could use this mod for my sorcerer.
Easily my favorite voice pack. These voice packs are incredibly tedious, so I really appreciate all the work. Any chance of an update with the new Lord of Nothing update? For some asinine reason, it sounds like roughly 10% of the sound files were messed with, requiring all of these awesome voice packs to get updated to even function. Yours were always the best, so I hope you're still out there and willing to update your voice packs.
This voice set was always one of the most hilarious ones in Dragon Age, just because of the ladder line. I'll always remember hearing it in Yuri Lowenthal's voice playing as an elf. XP
Despite making 5 of these voice packs so far this set is still my favorite. I was wondering though if you wouldn't mind if I uploaded my own take on this? Thanks to you I've become a fan of Tim Watson's and I'd like to make a slightly more complete voice set using samples from other sources (like Spellforce 3 Raith and other misc voices). Please let me know if that's okay, otherwise I'll just keep it for personal use.
It's a pretty tedious process but if you're up for it here's basically how I did it:
For the most part I followed this reddit thread. The file path is also different obviously since you'll be looking for the wrath_data folder.
Now most of the links in that thread are dead but you can find the tools just via googling. Also idk if it'll happen to you but for some reason Wwise really liked to rename the wem files it converted with a prefix and I don't know why. Had to rename each individual file back to it's original name.
If you're not up for it then maybe I'll make it some day in the future because it's a great idea you have. But I'm kind of busy with studies and playing the game lol. That and I also have some ideas to convert other DAO voice-sets.
I'll give it a shot If I succeed I'll upload it here if not...I'll wait for you to make it Thanks for the help, I am using your mode on my current playthrough
*edit*- Can you upload the soundbank.py file in a zip somewhere I can't find it anywhere(I installed python but still dont have it, I went to git hub but I am too stupid to figure out how to download it from there all I get is code) So if you can can you put the soundbank.py in a zip and upload it I will be very grateful *edit 2* Found it, now I have a problem with divinity; it turns the files in _wem files (keeps the names right) but I can't oppen them with vcl(in the tutorial it says obb files can be listened to with vcl) thus I dont know what file is what quote and I gave up for today... I have all the quotes from 40k ready I might give it another try tommorow
