Yes. It should work. It just tested it and it seems to work. Just install the mod and use toybox's respec feature. It keeps their attributes at their current pointbuy. If you want to change this you'd need to edit their attributes with toybox.
Is there a way with this mod to change how much a retrain costs? I retrained a ton of times (like 2 dozen times, i really enjoy retraining) in my first playthrough without ever having to pay, but I did just 4 retrains with the mod at the beginning of the campaign and suddenly Hilor was asking for 10,000 gold per retrain. It may have been an update to the game though, I may have just installed the mod at the same time they changed something.
Isn't that the deafult behavior of the game? If you read what Hilor tells you when respecing, he tells you that the first few respecs will be free, but that he will eventually charge you for them.
The easiest way to get free respecs is probably to install Toybox and trigger the respecs through there.
The 0.0.6 version doesn't work with game version 2.2.0as. It loads successfully but there is nothing in Unity, just the title bar of the mod with no way of accessing any of the features.
Okay so I haven't got any options with Hilor - not even the vanilla options. The hire mercs was there but no respec options. I've got the Lord Of Nothing DLC. I'm still in the inn and haven't done any respecs.

Are you running the Main Story? If you're running the Lord of Nothing story, it seems the respec functionality has been moved to a different tavern NPC, named Venrad.
Just to be clear, the mod doesn't make any changes to the Hilor NPC itself. It just changes how the respec function works, once it's activated.
I've tested it with a clean installation of 2.2.0as, and 2.2.0av now. No mods installed other than this one, and the "My companions and I require training" option appears to show up as intended on Hilor. Maybe another mod is causing the problem?
Appreciate the recompile for 2.1.5m - I wanted to mention that I respec'd Regill and he just always had has * a 0 charge order of the Godclaw in his abilities however its actually kind of likely that is just a result of running this respec mod along side Tabletop / Expanded Content. Re-specing him without either might fully drop those. Other then that rather minor detail seems to mostly be solid working.

There are no features for this mod in Unity Mod Manager.
It alters the existing in-game respec function, accessed by talking to the Hilor NPC.
I'm still in the inn and haven't done any respecs.
