Good work! I definitely like this version more than ugly vanilla one (that looks like some weird anime girl with horns) or any other alternatives here on nexus.
Hello there! I was looking on the new mods of the week and noticed this mod of yours, which contain the same custom portrait I used for my run but didn't post.
I noticed you actually took the Arushalae from the PDF and cut her in the right dimension, but, if you want, I can provide you an upscaled AND retouched version which include a full background, and not the white of the paper.
I usually just download mods, but seeing that other people enjoy this particular portrait as much as I do make me want to share what I generally keep to myself.
I uploaded them to ImgBB if you want to take a look at the final result. Feel free to use them for this mod or just keem them to yourself, I'm just happy to share cause i know how much a pixelated or not "on point" portrait can be bothersome. =P
Oh my god, thank you so much! I'm glad someone else loves this illustration of her too. It just feels like it's more accurate to the character vibes.
I found a similarly more hi-res version with a transparent background and updated the files before I saw this comment, but I am glad the files are out there.
To be fair Arueshalae doesn't have to try too hard to be Waifu considering of the options for waifus she is easily the best of the four because she isn't either lawfully stupid or a serial killer, she's killed people but she's actively seeking redemption and really she's nice overall and a companion I won't take out of my party she's essential and just awesome to have. Though I will say this is a badass portrait I will use it in my demon run in place of her dark portrait
I think that for "Waifu-ish" the autor intendend, other than the portrait, the also obvious in-game voice of the character.
All the attention is pointed on how she is remissive and frail, which, in the tabletop is only half right. Also, the not-red eyes and softer look is also a not-so-lore-friendly enhanchement which I also didn't like.
As she is reconsidering all her past deeds, she also is a really badass character with a strong personality. In the game she's, both in visual and in audio, much less of a redeeming succubus and more of a scared child.
Now, we can't really pay an actress to redo all the audio, but at least we can bring back some of her true badassness and character via the tabletop illustrations.
I agree with you about the other choices tho, FurryLover99 (Wenduag), ZodiacButWithTits (Camellia) or Galfrey doesn't really compete on the chart. I mean, Daeran is also pretty good for both sexes, but I guess someone could despite his venom-filled tongue. =P

Still, I'm not gonna upload them like any other thing I did, so feel free to use them for your mod or for your personal playthrough.
