Since this mod's inception, I have used Demonic Hunter on my Angel commander as a prestige class. I always started it at level 10 right after ascending at Drezen. Never once has it messed up. Hell, I've given it to companions before just for kicks. I've even used Visual Adjustments to stop looking so demon-y afterwards. Not a single issue. This is a very well made mod, and always one of my must-haves.
For those who are worried about waiting till Legend unlocks (toward the end of the game) to use this mod. The reason its setup this way is because that's when then game basically forces you, if you are a demon, to commit to being evil. Up till then you can basically be a good demon afaik. However, if your still worried, you can do what I'm going to do which is use toybox to disable class restrictions.
Full disclosure, everything in this comment is assumption at this point. The first part of this comment is based on what I've read, and the second part, I haven't actually tried yet.
So it is only restricted to legend mythic path? It is kinda lame you cannot use it on other paths. You pick legend in the later part of the game so it is fun.
Gave this a little test run shortly after heading to Act 4 in my last campaign. Didn't see any problems with having one of my companions take levels in the class so it seems to be fine at least for a certain ranger to take it.
Can you post a link to a tutorial on how to make a custom class I want to make a monk with ki arms (like astral self) with bonus extra attacks, reach etc
So there wasn't particularly any sort of specific tutorial I read.
What I can say is to start with this as a general modding start and look at tools you may need: https://github.com/TylerGoeringer/OwlcatModdingWiki/wiki (This was forked to account for changes in Wrath of the Righteous)
and also take a peek at the github mirrors of whatever mods you want to emulate to see if you can look at the structure for the particular kind of thing you want to make.
Oooh, I see. Thank you for pointing us in a direction! I don't consider myself that well technically versed (used to program in university but never got that deep into it) but I'll follow your lead and give it a try. If I'm lucky/dedicated enough, I might even have a custom class to be able to post to nexus!
Can you add a version to have regular feats or maybe combat feats over mythic feats? I would like to try this, but the mythic feat part seems broken haha
Hey, from what I see on the screenshots - does this class have no increase of saves? And how does rage works with this one? Increased by level, and still allows casting?
