Regarding the Bug, that no Animal Companion is spawning, here is a quick Guide how to avoid it (in my Experience) and how to fix it:
How to avoid:
In my Experience, the Bug only appears if you try to give a Character an AC while in your Capital or Olegs. This Bug will persist afterwards and even if you Respec the same Character again outside your Capital, you won't gain the AC.
How to fix:
Follow this Guide for Savegame Editing. Open party.json in your favored Text Editor. Search for "m_Pet" Find the correct Entry (The Colors of the Outfit are nearby the Entry, I suggest to use the Visual Adjustments Mods to find the exact Color of the Character. It's IMO the easiest Way to find the right Entry) Delete the "m_Pet" Entry and everything until the next Colon. Save Load the edited Save
Hey all, can someone let me know what I need to do to get the normal amount of points when Respecing a character? The link to the bag of tricks associated bug is down so im getting an insane amount of points when redoing my linzi build.

I don't know if anyone else is still playing this game, but just in case I leave here the solution to the error with the wrong Regongar's portrait. To return the standard Regongar's portrait, you need to open the save file with the wrong Regongar's portrait with a WinRAR, then open the file party.json with a notepad, then fix "6e7302bb773adf04299dbe8832562d50" to "null". After that, save the changes, load the edited save and Regongar's portrait will return to its original appearance.
This mod works very well (thus far). A few little wonky visual things, but nothing that doesn’t sort out on a save/reload save. I used it to change Tristan’s primary domain from good to fire, thus making his build sensible! Thanks for this excellent mod. 👍
I really just can't make it work, I'm trying on my main character, click respec, do everything as intended until i click the last next, which never closes the window, then i have to close the interface. When i do that, the character goes lvl 0 with 1 HP, I save and load, character is naked and still cant level it up.
UPDATE: After one hour trying, 30seconds after posting this I figured, Character had no name, keeping here in case someone do the same LOL
It randomly gives a char 25 ability points after respec from level 5 to level 1. Didn't click anything but „Submit”, payed 1000g and this happens every time. WTF?
Edit: OK, I read that it conflicts with Bag of Tricks. Disabling it in the Unity Mod Manager does nothing, still 25 points. Setting ability points to 0 in Bag of Tricks doesn't let me respec Amiri to her original stats since i can't add +2 to Constitution. After setting ability points in Bag of Tricks to 2 I can do this, but something is off in her skill points, since I can't get her to her base stats which I suppose are higher than any 1-level character you can make. Uninstalling Bag of Tricks causes Unity Mod Manager windows to appear only once – in the main menu. I can't access Respecialization mod in the game itself by the in-game menu.
Edit2: So this was the Bag of Tricks which adds the Unity Mod Manager into the in-game menu. My bad. And I guess wiki was wrong about Amiri's initial skill points, since it reports, like 5 somewhere, which shouldn't be obtainable at level 1 when you meet Amiri. Weird.
Can you give more explanations on how you fixed that? I,m trying to reset the level for Amiri and the comments Conflict with BagOfTricks, adds excessive extra points solution is to Change points given for levelling in Bag of Tricks to 0, choose "Original Stats' when you respec her using respecialization. That'll fix the 25 points thing.
The thing is I can't find where to do that. I have the game running and I'm on Amiri character page. I open the mod manager and I'm on Bag of tricks- Cheats and Toolsoptions, then I press the button Cheats then -Character Creation, Progression & Experience but I don't see where to change the points given for levelling...
at the moment whenever I reset a character to level 1, it's stats are the same but the ability points are always 20 and I can,t skip the ability section of the level up screen
I didn't have any trouble with Regonthar after respeccing even using CotW.
However, I respecced Jaethal (still an Inquisitor) and cannot for the life of me get her doll to reset even when saving/loading after clicking the "Reset Doll" option. She's still stuck with the wide-brimmed hat instead of her normal doll.
