I'm using the Steam Release of Kingmaker and can't find the Portraits folder in my local files. Does anyone know where to place the mod folder in this setup?
I cannot find the file location, whenever I go to "C:" then "Users" there is no option that allows me to continue to the destination you've described. Any others encounter this problem and find a solution?
appdata is a hidden folder; you can simply google how to toggle it's visibility based on your OS version, or win+R on windows and paste %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker\Portraits to it. Be sure you're accessing the right user too if you have more than one.
First of all, awesome work on this mod / pack so far!
However, I sadly can't use the portraits since the folders share their names with the folders from the Heroes of the Stolen Lands Portraits Pack I also use. Would your portrait pack still work if I simply change the names of the folders (e.g. Goblin1, Goblin2 etc.)? Might also be a good idea for a future update, if that happens.
Yes! You can change names of folders to anything the game accept. If possible try to use only numbers. Examples: 11111,11112,11113 or 90001,90002,90003 etc etc.
Thank you, I didn't know it was that simple but I'm glad it is :) Now I have a merry little band of psychotic green midgets zipping around the Stolen Lands, and they look great!
The unity mod uninstaller was a bit bugged for me, but if you managed to have that to work then it's great. The mod author of Kingmaker Mod Loader is working on having it compatible, so everything will be much better in a near future.

Never mind, it has an uninstall button right in it.
