Edit: oh god i left some debug code in it that breakes it again. Seems like this is never ending.... Sorry! This is what you get if you are coding in your free time dead tired. 1.0.5 is coming soon.
Ok i finally have a version that works with everybody's saves that you guys sent to me. I've been also testing the living jesus out of this mod in the past 2 days, i spawned every single unit with random presets and manually checked the textures. Please try version 1.0.5 and report any bugs if there are still any.
Original author said they lost this login, but released a version of this mod with the correct file setup. You still need to download the textures file from here.
Just to clarify. Repack both downloads into one file is only needed for installing with unity modmanager. I've manually installed / unpack both downloads and copy all the files into the mod folder. It is working the armors look good like on the screenshots and no crashing so far. cya
Hello! If someone is having problems with the mod when you enter to Oleg trade map, remember that you need to download both archives, one is the mod and the other is the textures :)
And unzip them in the same folder and at the same time and done!
For those who kept asking if it worked with the latest version of the game, so far I loaded old files at Olegs

. I didn't get any errors. It wasn't clear to me at first what to do but I think I figured it out - fingers crossed. I wrote up some instructions below - no guarantees how it will perform later in the game as I am still in Act 1 right now - but so far so good. I added image below to show that it worked -pending the mod author's approving them.
1. Download BOTH files from the download section - not one. The first file is the modfile that causes changes to your game. The second zip has the textures that the modfile is directing the game to read. I suspect people getting errors earlier aren't using both files - causing the crashes.
2. You will need to combine the files. Unzip both (or if you have a program that lets you directly edit zipped files, great). You are going to go into the 2nd textures folder under ...\NPCHQTexturesblahblah (blahblah= the number series from download - unimportant). There should be a folder called HQText (filled with the texture files) and a text file called "info.json and NpcHQTextures.dll goes here". This is the mod author telling you to move those two files into the textures folder.
3. Open the first zip file with the modfiles "info.json" and "NPCHQTextures.dll". Copy those two files and paste them into the textures folder in the same place you saw that above text file.
4. Rezip everything. If you zipped it correctly, the following levels should be present in the zip file. ...\NPCHQTextures\HQTex and your 3 files (2 modfiles + text file).
Following your instructions at the moment, so haven't tested it, but I just wanted to clarify: I should end up with 2 .zip files again, right? I combined them as instructed and then zipped each one, so I have "modfile" which should be the same as it was before and "hqtex" which now contains copies of the .json and .dll. Now I just drag both over UMM?
Hey there. I'm having this specific problem, but I don't know which files to put in the HQTex folder. If I just stuff all of them in, the mod doesn't get detected anymore.
Hi there, i made the same mistake only downloading mod file. You also need to download textures under "files". When you have downloaded the textures you will find a folder HQTex. Please copy all data in the folder into the HQTex folder of your mod installation. eg G:\PathfinderKingmaker\Mods\NpcHQTextures\HQTex
Finally all data has to be in the folder under "\Mods\NpcHQTextures\HQTex". Please be sure that you don't have "\Mods\NpcHQTextures\HQTex\HQTex".
Hi I just started a new game (V 2.1.7b) using this mod and I love it. I'm having an error almost identical to GrimReefer6769. Only mine is happening as soon as I'm reaching Oleg's for the first time and mine is specifying Bandit_customization rather than Noble. Everything else in the path is virtually identical. I was using the most up to date and after reading here I tried 1.0.5 and unfortunately it didn't fix the issue. Shame. Just wanted to report it.

Good Luck
Edit: I've now finished all the way through Act 2 with no errors. Here is a link to what a correctly packaged zip should look like once you finish the above steps.
Here is a link of what my repacked folder looks like and what should be inside the various folders if packed correctly.
I've now finished chapter 2 with no issues.
