Hi, I wanted to translate the mod to my language, just dhampir race, I try to modify the file in engGB.json and it works until I get into the game and then it's still in English. pls: I'm from Brazil and wanted to translate to Portuguese sorry for bad english
So I know this is and old and outdated game and mod(s) but I found a massice BUG when I use races unleashed and Call of the Wild, both normally great mods for the experince.
The issue I encountered is that I can not in any way level up a ninja past level 12, I crash to desktop every time I try to allocate the Attribute on level 12, this is regardless of race, or muliticlassing.
Does anyone else have this experience and if so what if anything can be done to fix this?
I know this mod apparently is dead, but is anyone aware if it or something like will be available for Wrath? Not all of these races made it into Wrath of course, most notable the Drow... since Wrath actually has drow enemies, I would assume that base info for having such a race, and any others from this mod that didn't get in, would be fairly easy (for modders) to make available??
Hi. Since these new races are so awesome(really love them, no bullshitting), why not add their gods to the mix? Would to have me a drow devoted to Lolth.
Lolth doesn't exist in Golarion unfortunately. Would love to see a mod expanding deity options within the game though. In the Pathfinder world of Golarion the Drow usually worship various archdemons and make deals with demons of all variety.
Lolth is a D&D goddess and not present in the Pathfinder canon, due to how Wizards handled the 3.5 3rd party license (which Pathfinder is based on). Implementing Lolth as a deity in this game opens the mod author up to a lawsuit from WotC/Hasbro, and we don't want that.
Two spider gods in the Golarion setting are Grandmother Spider, a neutral deity, and Atlach-natha, a neutral evil great old one. The CE core deity Lamashtu makes a good standin for Lolth as well as she is the "mother of monsters". The absolute closest you get to Lolth in Golarion is the demon lord Mazmezz, who is the "creeping queen" of driders.
Implementing Lolth as a deity in this game opens the mod author up to a lawsuit from WotC/Hasbro, and we don't want that.
They wouldn't, because it's just a mod. Even Nintendo killing free fangames is a bit of a grey area since the creators make no money and don't claim to own the IP, but can't fight back because of their lawyer army. And even Nintendo, the most aggressive about these things, hasn't tried to get the Mario mods removed from Skyrim.
Those spider gods are great suggestions though and I'd love to see them in!
I realize it's likely that nobody works on this mod anymore, but the most glaring... flaw? oversight?... I see is that there aren't attribute adjustments inherent to the races. For example, Drow are supposed to get some/all of +2 to Dex/Int/Cha and -2 to Str/Con. I also noticed that several of the races have their arms cut off for some of their models.
Other than that, I'm always happy to add new play options to my D&D games, so the work that did go into the mod up to this point is still very much appreciated. Dhampir looks pretty enticing. =)
