I loaded the game up. Unticked the box in Elderitch Arcana and then restarted the game as it said it needed restarting. I was then able to see all the traits.
These years later, it's important to explain to new users coming here to ask about the mod - it's broken. This mod used to have some interesting features but it is now defunct and will cause more issues and bugs than any actually working content it claims to add. You have been warned: this mod is defunct and is no longer maintained.
When I attempt to use this mod, it says "Error: Assets failed to load" in the unity mod manager menu, and the changes fail to appear (e.g. the Oracle class is missing from selection). Anyone else run into this same problem that might know how to fix it?
An interesting idea, give some spellcaster bloodlines or archetypes access to different spellbooks as an option. Sylvan & Fey Bloodline Sorcerers might choose to get Druid Spell book instead. Empyrian or celestial bloodlines having cleric spell book as an option. These things enable eldritch Scions to be able to choose alternative spell books. For Inquisitors certain domains could give the option of a diffrent spell book. Spell books like Druid, Magus, Wizard and maybe cleric & alchemist, Paladin spell book could also be an option if you don't intend to gain L5 spells on Inquisitor and similarly Celestial bloodline on Eldritch Scion could enable this as well, not to forget Ranger spell book an alternative to the druid one for certain domains and fey bloodline.
Another idea that's not canon but a big quality of life improvement would be if non spontaneous casters had Arcanist type spell casting as in Cotw, this ould enable certain amounts of daily spell casts per level as well as not being forced carefully plan to slot certain spells multiple times, domain spells keep their unique slot limitations unless Ecclesitheurge would enables some foreign spells to consme daily spell casts after the domain slot attempted to be used up if that spell is there.
Old news I'm sure, but is there a way to migrate a save from the prior version of Eldritch Arcana to this one? I started my playthrough with the wrong one.
Other features: - (off by default) Show custom portraits in the main portrait display. Requires restart to take effect. This feature. Is there any mod that does JUST THAT? Just the custom portrait display thing. That is all I want. But apparently this is the mod that does that, as well as a bunch of other stuff I don't want which crashes the game.
Q: Running the latest version 2.17b with the mod at 2.0.2 but it looks like the traits are loading? Any ideas? the ingame menu sows traits but I can't unclick it. any ideas? thanks

I didn't confirm my log looked the same as yours, but I had the same issue with the traits not loading. Might help someone in future.
The mod comes by default looking for compatibility with the Call of the Wild mod. One option is to also install this mod (although it seems like it gives an absurd number of traits, would not recommend).
Alternatively, what returned it to working as expected for me and re-enabled traits was ENABLING (i.e. clicking the checkbox) for "features incompatible with call of the wild" in the Unity Mod Manager. This disables compatibility with CotW (which if you don't have it, you don't care about).

So I've been playing this game sporadically for the last few years. I played using the old version of this mod and am running into the issue that selecting Spell Specialization while leveling up doesn't let me progress. I skipped it in one build, but I have Harrim as a Theurge and am not able to level him up because of this.
I tried replacing the old mod with this one, but got a loading error. I have both in the folder but it does not seem to affect anything.
How do I replace the old mod with this one so that it will load?
