    It's a solid three months of work since this mod is released in beta, and now it's considered as completed. The further updates will be more of hotfix instead of new features. You can still leave suggestions to me, but please understand that every changes would take my time so I won't accept each request.

    Thanks to many people that left useful comments, reported mod issues and especially to those who sent logs and save files to me. I'm not a big fans of tabletop nor turn-based game myself, but I enjoy your feedback and this mod is created for you.

    == How to play ==

    Here is a guide (credits to RPG Community College), if you have any problem about the installation or the gameplay, it's highly recommended to watch this video first. If you want to know in depth of the rule implementation, there are more details on the mod's DESCRIPTION page.

    == How to create a new translation ==

    You can load the game, open UMM menu, and find a tab called "Language". Click the "Export" button then you can find "Default.json" under "[game folder]\Mods\TurnBased\Localization\". You can rename this file at will, and translate it using any text editor. Once you've done, you can "Import" this file from where you export it. If you're willing to share your translation, you can let me know and I will Integrate your file to this mod. You can set your home page in the file, so people can find you through the link.

    1/12 - I'm sorry, but I have to stop maintaining this mod. Because I'm in a difficult time in my life and it becomes worse recently. If anyone want to take this job, you can just do it without my permission.

    I'm curious, did you ever experiment with what happens if you let enemies with consecutive turns all go at the same time, perhaps with a fixed 6 seconds to act? I thought it may be a way to speed up turn based, effectively keeping the best of both worlds

    this mod no longer works but it is not needed anymore. in the current version of the game i found an option to enable turn based combat, no mod required.

      Pretty much anytime : there is a new button in the user interface (toggle on/off), but you want to check out the settings to fine tune it.

    At first i was gonna come in here and ask wtf i thought it had turn based, then i saw your having a bad time with your life. I hope your doing better and wish you well, thank you for caring about the game enough to make stuff!

      In short, this popular mod helped Owlcat see it could be done and flow well. 
      Owlcat implemented turn-based in Kingmaker in 2020 and naturally it was all ported to the new game WotR. 

      The mod author and Owlcat had a good relation from what I hear. 
      The mod was left here, but I do not know if it works since that 2020 update.

    Sad to see it not updated anymore. Am I crazy or did it allow units to path around obstacles etc while charging?

    This mod was amazing, and it's too bad no skilled person could update it to work with the latest version, and even port it over to WotR.  It's just better than what Owlcat went with.

      This mod is the only reason why i could play Kingmaker.
      just started new WotR owlcat game , turn base combat is pure shitshow. Its even worse then in kingmaker ..how can someone mess so badly , by repeating one and the same thing over and over again..

    The mod is not working with 2.1.5d? At least in the mod interface it says that it requires restart and it is stuck on that settings. The other mods are working fine.

    Hmm I keep getting a "need restart" dot when I start my game. It's not installed in my programfiles folder either... Any help?>

      Same problem here. Tried reinstalling base game, reinstalling UMM, reinstalling mod, status is still red.

      I'm having the same issue and nothing seems to fix it. I remember using this last time I played. Was looking forward to doing so again.

      In early June 2020, Pathfinder: Kingmaker has an official turn-based option set into the core game, making this mod incompatible

      The modder has not responded here since, so it is clear there will never be a new version of this mod compatible with the current game.

    Hey there dude; I just recently thought of you; I was telling to a friend of mine who havent played pathfinder kingmaker for a long while, and first thing came to my mind was: "oh game has supported turn base now... although it's shame, the guy who did the turn based mod was such a brilliant person."


    And you were indeed, you made me and alot of like me enjoy this game. You put serious, professional level work. You did something, and you did it well. And dspite of it; you were so humble all the time.

    Although the state of the world is obvious, i do hope things improved and keeps improve for you compare to last year. You deserve it. Be well, please!
