About this mod
Replaces several Soroboreans DLC soundtracks with new pieces of music which also loop correctly.
- Permissions and credits
This mod is ONLY for the Soroboreans DLC! I only replaced tracks which did not appeal to my personal tastes. In my opinion the base game music is much better than the DLC music overall, so none of those tracks have been replaced.
Another benefit is that the looping issues have been fixed for the pieces being replaced. It turns out that the game's logic for processing audio is already seamless; the original music files were prepared incorrectly. The new music files have been tested to loop seamlessly. Town/combat have true looping; exploration has "looping" just by nature of there being silence at either end. The only caveat is town music sometimes has a tiny bit of a wrong beginning (only on the 1st loop) because they only accommodate 1 file for looping, instead of the full-blown "start" "loop" "end" paradigm. Combat music doesn't have this issue because it's always faded in on the first loop.
7 tracks have been replaced, 4 of which were written specifically for this mod.
- BGM_RegionAntiquePlateau - "Antique Plateau" (new piece)
- BGM_RegionAntiquePlateauNIGHT - "Broken Clock Tower" (new piece)
- BGM_TownHarmattan - "Harmattan City" (new piece)
- BGM_DungeonFactory - "Ancient Golem Factory" (new piece)
- BGM_TownHarmattanNIGHT - "Sprout's Journey"
- BGM_CombatAntiquePlateau - "Crater"
- BGM_CombatDungeonFactory - "Fissure"

HOW TO INSTALL
- Sideloader and BepInEx are required.
- Extract the directory to the outward directory such that it merges with the "Mods" directory.
- If there are any pieces where you prefer the original soundtrack to mine, selectively remove those .wav files from the directory.
- For a full tutorial on how to replace sounds in general, see this guide by sinai.
