I wrote a rough guide a couple weeks ago on restoring the original music and videos to the 2014 Steam re-release of ObsCure, but it really isn't user-friendly. I decided to try to automate it with a batch file, and here is the result. Here is the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8usjkthg3a9abup/ObsCure+Music+Restoration+v2.0.zip/file

Version 2.0
Same as my other ObsCure Music Restoration, but semi-automated.
I wrote a rough guide a couple weeks ago on how to restore the original music and videos to the 2014 Steam re-release of ObsCure, but it really isn't user-friendly. I decided to see if I could semi-automate it with a batch file, and here is the result.
Note that you *still* need both the original, 2004 PC release and the Steam 2014 re-release. Also, even though it's mostly automated, you'll still have to copy the "Saved games" manually in order to unlock everything in the "BONUS" menus.
The only other thing to note is that I had to run it, on my system, from an Elevated Command Prompt, as right-clicking it and "Run as Administrator" would cause it to suddenly close, shortly after running it. The batch file works perfectly from an elevated command prompt, however, as I've run it repeatedly, even across different hard drives, and it works fine. So, if right-clicking and running as Admin. doesn't work for you, you MUST run it from an elevated command prompt. It's probably just my system...well, it IS Windows.
