Maybe I'm weird, but I want a version with the spell absorption removed but the stunted magic to stay vanilla. I like not having magic regen and having to rely on alchemy/potions to restore magicka, but the 50% spell absorption (especially combined with Breton's 50% reduced spell damage) is way too over powered IMO.
cool update much apprechiated. i feel like restarting a artonarch character that is super dependent on mana wells, it would be literally his main side quest to travel to all the aleid wells for the mana ^^
u used it on current save or new created? if on old save file idk how to fix it right now, i noted in description that mod works 50/50 for current saves
The only way to make them work properly is only to start a new save, OR use the console command "showracemenu" to redo your character customization in an existing save.
Be aware tho that using this console command will reset all your skill points. Someone made a mod to counter this problem tho.
Less Restrictive Spells U can use this mod , this mod adds magicka regen as enchanting/spellmaking effect, i think its more immersive than base added regen, but ill create optional ver with regen
Would it be possible to remove the text about halted magicka regeneration from the birthsign description? Not a deal breaker, just curious if it's something you can do. Thanks for the mod!
i trying, but this text comes from Oblivion.esp and AltarESPMain.esp, to remove it, u need to edit original data, or create a standalone copy of atronach birthsign mod, but its just a fork

The only way to make them work properly is only to start a new save, OR use the console command "showracemenu" to redo your character customization in an existing save.
Be aware tho that using this console command will reset all your skill points. Someone made a mod to counter this problem tho.
