    For some reason the mod doesn't work for me; the color doesn't change.

    The other mods I use:
    Menu Recolor
    Auto Local Map - Smarter Map Opening
    Better Map Menu
    A More Complete World Map 8K

    Even without these mods, the local map with Darker Local Map is not darker.

      Update: I just found out that A More Complete World Map 8K is the "culprit". Could you maybe make a patch for it or give me a hint, what I could change?

      Rename this mod so that it takes precedence:

      I just tested this and it works... so you must be doing something wrong.

      Update: I've got it working now with “0_DarkerLocalMap2K_P” - thanks for your support!  
    8. I was also fussing with this and will add: if you've placed these files inside their own folder in the ~mods folder, you need to rename their folder, not the files themselves.

      Yes, because folders will then take the "spot" in the alphabetical hierarchy. Other UE games like trepang2 have their mod order like ABC that's why I didn't know till I tried. For some reason this game does it backwards; CBA.

    Please tell me do we put the 3 mod files (.pak .ucas .utoc) just inside ~mods , without making a separate/dedicated folder inside ~mods for them?

    Some hero needs to do a full blown dark mode mod. With OLED and HDR, every time I bring up the UI I'm blinded.

      UE5 supports native hdr via engine.ini "system.setting" lines

      Why would there be? That's a UE4SS script? This mod is a texture replacer.

    Great mod but i get crashes when using it with auto open local map. Is there something i can do?

      Don't think it's related to this, it's just replacing 1 texture.

      Unrelated to this mod, Auto Open Local Map causes crashes quite often in my experience. I've started using Open Local Map Key plus Toggle and I haven't had a crash since.

      The mod was updated today for people who experience crashes. I've never gotten one myself.

      Has causes crashes for me also. I don't use Auto Open local map. Current version. One crash opening then another loading through a door. Never had crash before. Removed and no more crashes. idk why. Prob a conflict with something but I def like the mod! Tyvm!

    Would it be possible to allow further zoom out on Interiors maps ? Like change the threshold at which we are forced back to the World map.

    Is this compatible with overworld map mods?

      Should be, if you find one that it's not compatible with, then rename this mods pak, ucas, utoc files. Forget how load order works. Maybe add a z to the beginning of the file name and if not working add an a to the beginning instead.

      Yes, I use that and the menu recolor with this, no issues so far.
