SPECIAL THANKS: Noobatron22, zzenuss, Greatlance420, WestTek, in the forums and posts in various music mods pointing out how to find these files and how to ultimately replace them
Here is a guide on how to replace .wem files: https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13514000-tutorial-unpacking-packing-pak-files-and-sound-replacement-guide-for-oblivion-remastered/
This mod really needs a video. Without it, I have no idea what the music will actually sound like. Plus, it seems like there’s some issues so having a video would allow me to determine how big of an issue it is if it’s not been fixed already.
Hey there. Do you know ho these files were identified as the right ones by chance ? I'd like to make mods for other cues and sounds in the game. Do i have to check them all one by one ?
hey- i just wantet to go the very easy way and change the audios in the mod you created so that i dont have to create the path and create the pak, but when i try to open the pak of your audio mod ore anyone else its not possible for me somehow - all tools that promise to unpack a pak data dont work .
skyrim audio changing was alot easyer that OBlivion remaster
If this is the same music sourced from the soundtrack CD then some of the tracks have slight bits of clipping compared to the original, Its visible on the waveform for them if you view it.
Actually the encoded audio files of original oblivion and from the remaster are in no way different. They just have the audio normalized after the clipping.
