mate my name is Elliot Saasik and I've been doing big scale mods for years, and this is by far one of the most original I;ve seen in a long time, you should be really proud!
I think you should carry on the mod, prehaps with a more underground cityish feel (maybe quests and more NPC;s etc), I mean I'm not saying it will be easy but from what I've seen so far theres no doubt in my mind you could do it.
