I know this mod is very old but I was searching for something related to ninja and I come across this mod .. it's seems interesting but judging from the comments here looks like it's have a lot of bugs and the author didn't even update anything since that time ... too bad I think this mod abandoned :(
Edit: I tried the mod .. I got a few CTD outside the shrine .. other than that the mod is work well, I like the puzzles it's make this mod unique .. I found all the keys but I still don't know what the key number 5 for.. I searched the whole area inside and outside I couldn't find any chest related to this key .. anyway I got the sword and return it to the grandmaster .. the quest complete .. is that it? .. only one quest? .. I was hope for more .. In the end nice mod and challenging I really enjoy playing it ..
hey coors, when you release the next version, think you could maybe move the actual location away from where hoarfrost is? id like t play those together. like use hoarfrost as a place for storing and displaying all the spoils of my ninja adventures.
you might not have to start over. You go back to your starting cell when you do the dark brotherhood quest to kill valen dreth. theres also a key there u find when you kill dreth on a table at the far end of the hall that opens the door from the prison entrance. Anyway, if you somehow find your way back there it should work.
Heya. I have used this mod for a few years now, and appreciate the effort in making a creative mod. However, there is a rather upsetting problem within the mod: It adds instability to parts of the map, particularly around the Shinobi Shrine near Bruma. The game crashes every single time I try to walk in those specific areas. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this, but it sure would be nice if somebody could devote some time to it. There are other minor problems in the mod, such as the Master Ninja not having an actual speech to tell me about the quest, and the text scrolling faster than I can read it. I've just decided to stop using the mod specifically because of the instability. It's driving me nuts. Again, if anyone may try to fix at least the crashing problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
Well I downloaded the mod the instant I read the description and was looking forward to taking my lvl 31 Cute Elf and making her into a Ninja. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that you need to start a new character to get the mod to work.
Now according to the description this mod is designed for higher lvl players and it does not mention that you need to start a new character to get the mod to work. This is something that should be placed in the description. Definitely a contradiction in meaning being designed for high lvl players and needing to start a new character to get the mod to work in the first place.
Anyway, I guess I will try the mod. Hate leaving my lvl 31 elf but I guess there is no choice if I want to play the mod.
And a major drawback that this mod interferes with Hoarfrost Castle. I use this mod constantly as it gives the most space for displaying my armor collection. I can place over 40 mannequins in Hoarfrost Castle.
