Love the mesh, unfortunately, it will not work. Upon trying to add the saddlebags in the construction set, I get an error:
"Mesh was exported incorrectly. Hide the skeleton before you export body parts."
Any chance for a fix?
[Edit: If I ignore the errors, the saddlebags still work in the game. I still think it should be fixed, but at least it works. I am not sure if it will cause any problems.]
hmmm, i have the same opinion like surfrider. i really DO appreciate all the modmakers' work cuz i'm not able to create any and i don't have too much time to play, not even to make mods, but i have to confess sometimes i'm really upset. i find a modtitle, opps i want it, and than it comes with 3 more unnecessary spells, merging 3 other mods i absolutely don't need...etc.
i think there wouldn't be so many fixes and patches , and confusing about compatibilities if a modder just concentrates to that specific objective that came into his/her mind...i think the best mods always are the simple kinds.
I sure wish you hadn't bundled other stuff with your mod; now I have to choose between your fantastic new saddle model, and non-outdated saddlebag and mount-summoning mods. Unfortunatly, for me, function wins out over form.
It's not just you, though; I simply can't understand why people (and there's lots of 'em) who make excellent mods would handicap their finished product, and limit who can/will use it, by packaging it with other unnecessary stuff. Not only does it exclude some end users, but it also excludes it from being used as a resource! Your accessorized saddle would be a fantastic addition to, for example, OOO; your work would get seen/used/loved by WAY more people, and OOO would benefit by having even more quality content added to it.
I strongly encourage you to rethink your distribution strategy.

fortunatelly several mods are modular.

My latest version of Slof's Horses has reins. This will go nicely with them. Have a 10. ">
Only changed the original saddle.nif by this improved file. Any idea? Is this a problem of flags (14 versus 4 in the original saddle.nif)?
