Dark UI - Skills&StatsIcons

Description

I originally started my modding with the dark ui replacement videos and then began a few personal tweaks to the dark ui XML files. It was then that I noticed that though the skills pages still used the original light ui skills icons. I wanted to continue making dark ui complete by adding these icons to the mix. If using Major Jims dark ui you will also notice that the health/magicka/fatigue icons are also light ui holdovers. I have made dark ui versions of these too. There are still many other light UI holdovers which I will continue to update, so be on the lookout for updates of this mod.

Update: I have made the factions and quick wheel icons into a separate mod. See authors notes for the link!

Installation

Extrat the .7z file to your Oblivion data folder (directory structure should be intact already), but in case something goes wrong, install to

data\textures\menus\stats for the stat_attr_icons_add.dds file

data\textures\menus\class\attributes
data\textures\menus50\class\attributes
data\textures\menus80\class\attributesfor the skills icons

Thats it!

Note: If you wish to make your own that is fine; however, this 7z archive is converted from an OMOD I have already prepared.
Thus if you simply load it into OBMM it will convert back to an OMOD without any work on your part. You are welcome.


Uninstallation

Remove the files/Deactive the OMOD.

Version History

1.0 Created dark ui textures for the skills icons and dark ui stats icons that were still unchanged.

Problems

If you cannot open the archive you downloaded, you need to get 7zip. Its a .7z file.
