I'm getting an issue with this mod that seems different. I keep getting the following messages any time I try to load up a game:
These appear in this sequence. I have no mods except for this and the enclosed script silencer installed and I have the latest version of OBSE (and before you ask, it is indeed installed properly, I've used it before). I have patched Oblivion with the official patch, so if the unofficial patch is required, please say so (although it was having the issues when I had that installed as well, so I'm not sure what to say). What do I have to do to make the mod work? I've seen that I am not the only person who has had this issue.
EDIT: After posting this, I found one solution to the problem that I suggest you keep in mind: The OBSE Test mod seems to act as another prerequisite mod for Curse of Hircine. While the OBSE Test is active, CoH works fine. As soon as I deactivate BOSE Test, CoH fails to initialize. I strongly suggest that this note be made with the mod's description/readme.
As for an additional bug, sometimes the character gets stuck in a loop of constantly readying claws. There doesn't seem to be any way to predict it, but toggling sneak usually works to fix it.
1. How to install. The first thing you need to do is to download obse v 20. If it dont works reninstall oblivion and add the first mods:curse of hircine and Curse of hircine rescurected. After that start the game via obse.
2. See if it works. You can see if it works. if you writes: set cidwwsettings.enabledebug to 1. Than go into the Hircine options, find debug panel add:Moon stone and the curse. sleep 3 nights if you not Transform take of the mode than and quick save when the mode is of, than enable the mod go into the game via obse.
This one must help so you guys know (:
3. Install Obse Go into the obse v20zip take this files... obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader. Dont care about the ver on the names. It is ver 20 ^^ after that lunch oblivion with obse_loader, quite the game and look if there is any new files if there not are any new files download obse ver 19b.
4. Why do the enemy werewolves not transform? Becuase they have no greetings. try to see if there is any conflict, T.E.X Lengend of the north can be a conflict for there is werewolves to.
5, And the last one. Cant find any werewolves. There is one spot in the middle of Skingrad and the destroyed kvatch. There is another spot in Herohill write coc Herohill on the cheats. There is a spot outside Cursed mine. If it dont exists the mod dont exists. Reinstall Oblivion until it works than.
plzzz help me I do not find any werewolves and the mod is working but everywhere I searches does I not find any werewolfs. even at full moon do I not find and at night. plzz help me /:
Many bandits in the game have the disease - I can give you a list of some I've seen. They can infect you even in human form. Werewolves are rare, and you won't necessarily find them unless the moon is full or close to full.
Werewolf-bandits I've noticed a lot
Bandit - Redguard with a grey-black afro and a levelled warhammer
Bandit Hedge Wizard - Imperial (breton?) in a grey robe, looks a lot like Martin, actually.
Bandit Bowman - Dark Elf, female, thinnish face
Spots I see werewolves at very frequently - Fort Nikel - Hero Hill - South of the Cursed Mine, on the road - A bit north of Hircine's Shrine - Near the Ayleid ruin Nonungalo - I found two werewolves fighting each other here
However, if you're getting a script failure message at the outset of the game, then the mod isn't working, period, and you need to fix that before you have any chance of finding werewolves.
If you activated it and asking to search for a werewolf I recommend you to go to the fort west from Imperial City and Weye. If not you'll usely find the Werewolves as bandits in the wilderness at daytime. Also I recently discoverd a bandit that has the disease near the cave where part the main quest was. Remember to get a book from some ritual people in red robes.
I have the CurseOfHircine.esp, the cidnothump.esp, the Meshes folder, the Sounds folder, and the Textures folder copied to the Data folder. I have the latest version of OBSE. I have enabled the esp files in the Oblivion Mod Manager. But I still don't see or hear anything that looks or sounds like a werewolf. PLEASE HELP!!!

This took me one week to detect hope it works (:
Plus you need to be level 15.
