-------------------------- Due to unfortunate IRL circumstances this was delayed release but was finished a week or so ago, everything should work as intended but I haven't tested it since then. If there are any issues please let me know :)
This was the inspiration for this one so it's lore friendly and orc fitting even if it doesn't initially seem Orcish
Player home textures may vary from those shown depending on what the user has as vanilla replacers
There is also a small backstory to the home itself (the note by the bed) you can ignore it/get rid of it of course its just backstory for those who want it
Textures look a bit odd to me on some distances/angles not sure if that's just an issue with my set up/the fabric itself or the mipmaps
I'd planned smoke coming out of the chimney outside but couldn't find the smoke in the kit
Great mod, endorsed ! It's beautiful and works well, as with all your clothing mods. I noticed that the orc home stands in exactly the same place as one of the witch covens from this mod. Nothing that a quick ~tcl can't fix, but it's funny that the two houses sit almost exactly at the same place, each one covering the other's door xD I'll also put this comment on the other mod's page.
Ah wasn't aware of that i'd thought i'd picked a spot that wasn't used by many mods. Since mine is the newer of the two mods I should maybe make a future version of it relocated, not sure when however as i'm not currently modding Oblivion. Thanks for letting me know :)
Hello, i really enjoy your work, and downloaded previous mods without any problem but with this one i get windows defender notification about virus: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml Something tells me it's false positive and defender is just a piece of garbage:) It's just never happened before. Does anyone else had this kind of problem?
I've not had that issue with my mods before though sometimes that does happen on the nexus when downloading mods. Nexus itself isn't showing any warnings on it and i'm pretty sure I didn't put one in lol. Is it doing it with any other mods you're downloading?
No, only with this one. I've read about it and it's definetely false positive. Something about that it's very common and defender marks your file as suspicious if certain security markers are not detected (whatever) Just never happened in all those years on nexus I'm not accusing you of anything, just letting you or anyone else know that it's fine
The armoured belt holds the orc theme together and matches it to Oblivion's orc style closer but I might be able to release a version without it at a later date (most of my layers I still have are merged down and different to these as I didn't save at the right time I might have to recreate some of the textures on many of the layers including new normals which is a bit of work)
The orc mod is a combo of a few mods OCO as the base with this replacing the head, I used these for the warpaints but the eyes are my own edits of the set that came with OCO I think, the tusks are my own edits (the whiter tusks) with some tweaks I may be able to at least release them someday. I made the other race hairs playable for orc races in an esp.
Have you tried using a human head for orcs? I have tried differemt things but I don't think I tried that, I might try it tonight if I get time. I hate the wrinkle on the nose.
Orcs don't really have a theme. The imperial clothing doesn't have theme to them
I have not tried that wasn't sure the orc teeth meshes would work with human headmorphs. I use to dislike the nose wrinkle but it's started growing on me makes them stand out in small ways from elves and humans almost as much as the tusks. Maybe you could try an elf head (assuming the mouths work with it) no nose wrinkle and it won't look too human. Another possibility might be sculpting the wrinkle out in outfit studio (or blender something like that) but i'm not sure if it will work easily with heads without a bunch of work on bones/nodes or whatever head meshes use. Warpaint works decently to fill in the gap and make the wrinkles less visible as well. Oblivion characters like to mention how ugly orcs are (even some of the orcs say it) but they're not that bad well in other Elderscrolls games anyway not so much Oblivion's orcs.
Orc armour is styled uniquely and looking at orc clothing armour and other motifs (especially in ESO) I pieced together a theme. Imperial clothing in Oblivion doesn't really either more generic clothing but in other elder scrolls games it's more unique definitely something I'd like to retexture at a later date to have more imperial design to it.
I just discard ESO and Skyrim out of principle. Skyrim is fun as an action game but they already started adding weird sci fi lore to it. Or just generic fantasy lore. Elder Scrolls already had all lore for it, but they didn't understand it I guess.
Project Tamriel has really good ideas for styles, I don't know if they already got it for orcs too. I really like this design you have but the belt is just weird to me.
Ah, I was very anti ESO at first didn't like how they messed with bits of lore and things that were retconned (i've warmed to it in recent years though) but even then it was at the very least and excellent source of clothing inspiration lol
Understandable on the belt it's a bit off I suppose couldn't think of a way to do it differently but felt similar was needed
I've been meaning to try him out, not enough male followers especially orcs (unless CM or other similar mods have them, i'm not sure) and now he will have orc clothes instead of just orc armour, that's always nice :D
Thanks! and thanks for the picture too :D it looks really cozy aside from the Shepherd's Pie on the table like that, who needs plates lol (I should've maybe put a plate under it for unmodded versions of it or point people to use this but that feels like self promotion)
My pleasure. The backstory for the picture is the following: the Orcish woman rescued the blonde one, who was lost up in the frozen mountain, and is now hosting her at her home until she gets better. She also borrowed her some of her warm, practical and incredibly stylish clothes.
By the way, Orcs don't need plates and cutlery to eat, they just use their hands. They're not foppish High Elves
I like the backstory you'd freeze fast up that way nice to have a warm place to rest up :D As for the plates sure but some can be civilised and eat less wood splinters from the table in their totally not horse meat and eyeball stew xD
If it's alright with you, may I post some images of my character wearing this new clothing? Guess you can say I'm promoting some of your mods again, but I thought I'd ask your permission first this time.

Also, what is the orc mod you use? The females don't look butt ugly
