Hey, so I am playing a modded modpack with Ascension installed, and Ascension changes the base fatigue regen rate from 10 to 5 (fFatigueReturnBase). The Vampirism100sun or Weakness to Sunlight spell effect in TES4EDIT damages fatigue by a flat amount of 9, with no scaling to Ascension's fatigue regen changes. The result is that staying in the sun nukes my fatigue, rather than letting me regen fatigue at all.

so i hadnt gone into a vampire cave in awhile i went into one with a new character and all the vampires were dead already never gone in that cave before checked another vampire location they were all dead as well no idea why this is happening... would that have anything to do with this mod?

I couldnt even resurrect one with the console it just instantly died

update: the reverse feeding version does not work properly all vampires start out dead or knocked out not sure but they are all laying on the ground and it definately was this mod that caused it just so you know.

Got it to stick, but now, a new problem - whenever I'm outside in the sunlight, my magicka jumps to 65616!

Doesn't seem to stick for me. I meet a vampire, the game says I contract the disease, but nothing shows up in my active effects.

How do you suppose this would go with Morroblivion? Would it mess around with clan loyalties, prevent me to join the clan that infected me and do their quests? Or would they just continue to infect their own version of Porphyric Hemophilia, since it seems different from the vanilla one?

Well, the local vampires still infect me with a Porphyric Hemophilia, rather than Sanguinare Vampiris, so I guess that answers that question.

Shame. Morrowind vampires were always way too hardcore for me.

I'm looking at this through TESEdit, I think you forgot to edit the Cure for Vampirism script to make it remove the new spells.

Same with the official DLC "vile lair" method of curing vampirism, which annoyingly uses a different script.

Made a small Vile Lair patch here, but it may need a bit of testing. irisinthedarkworld can upload it here if she wants.

I'm having an issue with 100 vampirism in daylight. My character gets paralysed or something and fatigue is 0 not regenerating. Have to wait until dark so i can get up. Any ideas why?

at 100 vampirism you should be getting 9 points of damage fatigue per second, while continuing to regenerate 10 per second as normal. you may have a mod that changes fatigue regeneration to be slower, but it works well enough in vanilla conditions. alternatively it may have to do with the attributes which influence your fatigue getting drained. admittedly i don't know exactly how that works, but you should still be regenerating 1 fatigue per second in total

I think there may be an issue when choosing to start as a vampire in the Alternative Beginnings mod. Even with this mod active, you will die of sunlight damage when using the wait function. But that is just a compatibility issue and not something necessarily wrong with this mod.

Do vampire NPCs gain any of the new features?

just the extra resistances and lack of sun damage, i think. the weakness to sunlight script only works on the player... probably

Looks good. Added to the LOOT masterlist, and suggested the Nexus Mods tag 'Related to Vampires'.
