It would be neat to see a Better Cities version where the tunnels from each mod are stitched together so you have to walk the length of both tunnels to reach the Waterfront door access.
This would be perfect if it sloped upwards, and if only the lower area close to the waterfront was as dingy. I find it odd a mere unlocked door away from the temple district is a slimy hole full of unsavory characters. Also, damnit, another nitpick--any way to use the actual IC basement tileset?
Neat tunnel, but the Waterfront exit is level in elevation with the Temple District exit, despite the Imperial City sitting far above the Waterfront District. If you could update the layout accordingly, it'd be a great mod to use.
I found my frame rate drops by almost half when staring down the tunnel from outside the skooma addict room entrance. After a bit of testing I found that this may be caused by the sheer amount of hanging lamps in the tunnel. Removing every other lamp seemed to reduce the frame drops to negligible levels, though I did still notice a fair increase in CPU and GPU usage. It be nice to see this fixed either by similarly reducing the number of lamps, or perhaps by overhauling how the cell is lit in general.
Apart from this notable issue it's a fun mod, hope to see more like it.
My framerate is fine within the tunnel. If you are using any, ENBs and such graphical tweaks can drop performance a lot (especially around fires, I've noticed). There are performance boosts available for Oblivion here on Nexus.
Just wondering what differences there are between the tunnel and sewers here and the ones in your other mod https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49946 ? It obviously edits less but I am assuming I should just use one or the other of them?
They both add a Waterfront tunnel so naturally they will conflict with each other. You can try loading this mod after my Waterfront overhaul but I'm not 100% sure if that would work. Any changes to sewers are mentioned in the mod descriptions. I created this one because I don't like using city overhauls due to the FPS hit, but I do like having a tunnel between the Temple District and the Waterfront. In my opinion this mod offers a better tunnel than my Waterfront overhaul. It's more detailed and compact. My older mods tend to be a little over the top.
Looking forward to giving it a try. Jadrax's tunnel mod has features that I like but suffers from a dated design, so having an alternative is quite nice.
Agreed, I used that tunnel mod back in the day and enjoyed it. Forgot about it till I stumbled across this one. Looking forward to dropping it into my load order and taking it for a spin. Thanks for the mod, Icelandic.
Congrats on the mod release, and thanks for this. Curious if there are any small quests? Maybe a "fetch this" type quest from a dealer, or "help a poor beggar in need"?

And that's not quite true. I like keeping Cyrodiil pretty, it's just the bad parts that look bad.
Thanks for the mod.
