Just chiming in to say that I love this Reshade preset so much. I was using it with texture packs for a while until I realized the game looked nearly the same with or without them while I had this on, except for maybe a few doors that got more detail in the texture packs. Both look better than Vanilla. It definitely does what it says. The one bad thing I've noticed is that with low-res skin textures skin can get blotchy and pixelated, so replacing those is probably a good step for modders using this. I appreciate you've released it for the JK games too, since I could never figure out settings that looked good with them. Thanks!

gamma adjust same effect, comparable to moving the brightness value down 3 notches from default...

Probably a foolish question, but is there any problem putting this on an existing save file?  Never messed with shaders n the like before.

    Thx

I have heard reports that if you save while using ENB first and switch to ReShade then the game may fail to load your save.

Tho I personally havent tested said theory out so I do not know for sure. namely cus I avoid enb. I dont like unoptimized mods

      Confirmed: "No"

      So such thing.
Both ENB as ReShade are post-process.

Post-process touches game visuals after game loads.

      They don't touch save games.

You officially got me to try ReShade for the first time, and I'm so glad I did, because your preset looks fantastic, and performs fantastically too. Thank you!!

I tried using this mod with Oblivion Reloaded. In the prison cell everything looks great. Outside the prison, the shader conflicts with OR water shader, which makes the water look black and transparent

Unfortunately, the game crashes when it loads a save file with ReShade d3d9.dll tried to start several times but crashes each time. Got to go back to ENB d3d9.dll to get it to load the save file.

Kudos on the ReSahde preset, @StixsmasterHD.  This is based off of the screenies, but if they look that good, then in-game will look great.  This is all coming from a guy who isn't too keen on ReShade presets.  Most I've seen are underwhelming.  I'm seriously considering seeing how this works with OR.

btw everything you see in the photos is all stock textures/models...I avoid using upscaled mods...dont see why I needa usem when I got my mod/preset that does a better job without requiring nearly as much extra resources from your hardware

I figured they were vanilla textures.  I believe you use that luma sharpening shader?  That really enhances textures.

lol np on the double posting. I getit...ran my own website from the age of 12 to 18

besides that I have no clue what type of sharpening shader it is...all I know is it is called DELC_sharpen in the configuration menu

also there is more than just the sharpening shader in effect in my preset. many peeps assume its just the sharpening shader...it isnt...its much more than that.

I configured like 6-7 shaders to all work together seamlessly...sumthing most other modders still havent figured out howto do when using just 2 shaders

    1. How does that affect the work of the OBSE?
2, Will it work without HDT? (Antialiasing- enabled, HDT - disabled)  - I don't like hdt in Oblivion :)

pretty sure it works with both things you asked perfectly fine.

personally I feel with my mod the HDR in Oblivion is MUCH better. it was a dumb decision on bethesdas behalf to not let you set HDR on + AA. thankfully my mod solves that issue.
