This is about the only lock bashing mod for Oblivion. It's a shame that it was abandoned 13 years ago. If anyone knows anything about modding, it would be great if someone created a new one that didn't have bugs in it like this one apparently does.
Hi I would like to report a bug, using this with a CM Partner causes you to get a bounty out of nowhere, which can also lead to infamy.
I am not sure if responsibility causes it but CM Partners following you causes you to get a bounty every time you bash a locked chest or door, owned or not.
I think I will stick to picking locks for the time being, I hope you read this and consider making some kind of CM Partner patch, as I shouldnt be getting any random bounties out of nowhere for bashing a bandit chest.
Well, I really like the idea of this mod, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have a blunt weapon, 63 strength, and a chest with a very easy lock on it. So, I cast the spell and it turns blue (more purple for me actually, but whatever). I have max fatigue (well, as much as a level 2 person can have) and do a standing power attack. The weapon makes a hit sound, and the appearance of hitting something, but my weapon doesn't take damage, and I've hit the lock about 20 times and it still doesn't open. Any suggestions? I am running many other mods, so what kind of mods might conflict with this?
