About this mod

Adds knights lodges to the other cities of Cyrodiil

Welcome to the forty eighth installment to my Oblivion Immersion Series.  The knightly orders that appear in Cyrodiil were an interesting addition to the game.  First, there is the Knights of the White Stallion.  Second, there is the frat house order of the Knights of the Thorn.

But where are the other orders for the remaining cities?  Did they just all decide to have their landed gentry not do anything useful?  Having a knightly order not only provided martial power, but also displayed wealth and prestige, which is something that pre-modern society would absolutely care about.  Not to mention that knighthood also served to fill in the lower nobility, which Cyrodiil is sorely lacking in.  Naturally, the number and wealth of the knights will scale with the wealth of the city they represent (and apparently the count of Leyawiin is a cheapskate lol).

So this mod adds a knights lodge for each city that previously lacked one.  None of them offer any quests, but per my usual they offer services as class trainers and merchants.  A few minor changes have been made to the Knights of the White Stallion and Knights of the Thorn.  Both have a basement added/rearranged with blacksmith and maid added as members, whom act as merchants.  Further, the shield model for the Knights of the Thorn was swapped out for the Cheydinhal guard shield to make it match the other knightly orders better.

This mod comes in two versions.  The first is the vanilla-esque version, where the Knights of the Wolf at Kvatch patrol the refugee camp for the duration of the game.  The knights at Kvatch ought to be doing something useful while the town guard launches the counter-offensive, right?  The second version is the Kvatch Rebuilt Patch, which makes use of building assets from it and restructures the AI to make the knights better fit the quest structure of KR.  Now, the knights will stay at their HQ prior to the attack on Kvatch, patrol the refugee camp once the city is demolished, and then return to their lodge after the Breaking the Siege of Kvatch quest is completed.

Version 1.1 offers some minor bug fixes (see Change Log for details) and diversifies the AI of the knights to make them more involved in town life.  Some knights will now do things like visit the local armory, Fighters Guild chapter, chapel, or other acceptable location for a knight to patronize.

V1.2 makes no changes beyond re-cleaning the mod with the latest version of TES4Edit.

For the KR Patch, the AI for the knights of Kvatch has been altered to better accommodate the quest structure of Kvatch Rebuilt.  The knights will remain at their lodge prior to the city's destruction during the main quest, protect the refugee camp during the siege, and return to their lodge once the siege has been broken and the KR questline begins.

Further, extra building assets from Kvatch Rebuilt were incorporated to improve visual conformity with Kvatch Rebuilt.

The UL compatible versions relocate the lodges for Skingrad, Bravil, and Chorrol to make them compatible with the UL mods Skingrad Outskirts, Bravil Barrowfields, and Chorrol Hinterlands.  That is, all three at once in a single file.  I don't have the time to make individual versions for each and every possible combination.

Incompatibility
============

The vanilla version of this mod is not compatible with Kvatch Rebuilt.  The KR Patch is an alternative version made to address this.  See Optional Files for more.

Not compatible with Enhanced White Stallion Lodge by natcalsar.  Compatible with Jon's White Stallion Lodge and mostly compatible with White Stallion Lodge - True Knights Lodge.

The base versions of this mod are incompatible with UL - Skingrad Outskirts, Bravil Barrowfields, and Chorrol Hinterlands.  Optional alternatives are available to correct this.

Not compatible with Open Cities based on user reports.
