I tried it out and tried setting the time to 1-10.
I noticed one thing when the time was slow: The grass and the leaves move so slowly that it looks like time is standing still.
In Oblivion.ini there are these "fGrassWindMagnitudeMax" and "fGrassWindMagnitudeMin" which indicate the speed of the grass, but if I increase the values, the grass deforms and then looks abstract at higher values.
Is there a way to adjust the time without the nature moving slower? Or at least a way to effectively make the grass and trees move faster?
Unfortunately it seems that animations like that are tied to timescale. It seems to be an engine limitation as far as I can tell, though there have been mods that fix the issue for certain things like doors. Unless you get a grass replacer that isn't tied to timescale somehow (like having regular physics instead).
Sadly there isn't much I can do on my end to fix it. Would be cool if we could get a fix for that tho!
There is a mod "NoGlowGrassFix" with optional faster moving grass, but it doesnt seems to move much faster xD (My time is set to 4.2 from 0-24 o´clock)
Apparently there is a way to compensate for such phenomena using the Wrye Bash mod tool and the included “bashedbash mod”. I also use Wrye Bash but I haven't managed to do it with bashedbash yet.
The latest Unofficial Oblivion Patch fixes Where Spirits have Lease and A Brush with Death. I've played both these quests with a timescale and 5 and under without issue.
Nice Mod! This is what Ive wanted for years, but, for the opposite reason as you. I sleep during the day and get out at night, because I work best in darkness. I'm not even a bad guy. ...at least in my opinion... Heh.
Glad you like it! Yeah I knew that some people would prefer to play in the night. I don't play vampires or thieves but I know a lot of players love those play styles, so I made sure that there would be options to customize it, so people can play however they want.
