I am excited to present to you this new world, dungeon delving, boss battling, survival experience! Do you have what it takes to traverse the harsh desert sands and make it home to Cyrodiil?
Have any questions about the gameplay? Just ask.
If you come across any bugs please report them to the Bugs Section.
I tried getting to boss IV first (Eldaline) and there's nothing on top of the mountain but a pile of skulls. Am I supposed to have a special item first? The mountaintop looks like where a boss fight would happen. Am I supposed to fight all the boss battles in order? Nevermind you have to ACTIVATE the skulls. Doy!
Overall, it was very good. Big, new spaces to explore with a number/variety of dungeons, caves, rooms etc to explore along the way so that wandering over the desert terrain didn't become tedious. It's a free roam, no journal quest with no guidance so you have to figure everything out for yourself. By luck, I grabbed the things I needed before I got to certain special locations. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the massive, great work.
A pretty good mod that really scratches that itch for exploring new places, along with a decently difficult setting for those wanting a challenge. The various areas are fun to explore, and the new enemies are a treat. The Sand Dredges, in particular, are cute.
The bosses were fun to fight, and I could definitely see the Dark Souls 2 inspiration in them, and various different areas, and made exploration funner.
With that being said, there are some areas that disappointed me. Small places, or just new areas in general that look like they should have something interesting to find or collect, but are empty or just have miscellaneous junk to loot. Completing the full sets of the new armor in this mod is also a chore, and backtracking to every area, map, and room is tedious when trying to find the last few pieces.
As it currently stands, I've yet to complete the Bramblescale and Goldhawk armor sets. I'm not sure if they have helmets or not, but I'm unable to find the Goldhawk Gauntlets and Helm, and the Bramblescale Cuirass and Helm. An item walkthrough would be very helpful for any potential future updates.
The buildings at Sunken Wall, the Arcane Flow Buckler, and Pennalta's Staff of Hoarfrost also seem to have their textures messed up, and appear as a mess of different coloured blocks, with large spaces of black between them. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the mod itself, or just my PC being old and bad, though.
Overall, it's a solid mod, and one I endorse. I haven't completed it yet, due to the aforementioned missing pieces of armor I'm looking for before leaving, but exploring the new areas was extremely fun, and really scratched the itch I had for seeing new things.
1. Goldhawk Gauntlets: located in the Forgotten Palace Praxographical Chambers in the Forsaken Paradise Desert. There is a button (styled like ones found in Ayleid ruins) that is concealed on the top of one of those half-columns (behind the Altar of Enchanting) that have 4 smaller columns that make up the whole column. The half columns are connected to the bottom of the vaulted ceiling. Once the button is pressed, the alcove in the wall behind it will open revealing a secret treasure room. The Goldhawk Gauntlets are in there.
2. Bramblescale Cuirass: located in the Ravenkin Warrens in the Scavengers Valley Desert. The cuirass is located on a table that's perched on top of the first Ravenkin hut with the yellow/brown cloth door that you encounter as you are progressing up the spiraling cavern. you can climb up a nearby wooden beam to access your treasure.
The Bramblescale and Goldhawk sets do not have helmets so no need to worry about those. Sorry for the long description of the first one, the spot that the button is hidden in is pretty hard to explain. XD
Hi so I've been to all the areas now at least once, but nothing is happening. I think I need to get the navigation maps to sail the ship, but have no idea where they are. Could you point me in the right direction please?
You can get the nautical charts from defeating Captain Isher Craile in a boss battle. If you have not found him yet then you can find him inside a dungeon at the Shipwreck Graveyard. Let me know what happens.
Hi, so I backtracked to his location to collect the charts, but his body isn't there anymore, it must have despawned. I can't collect the maps now. Is there an item ID so I can use player.additem?
I guess I'll also need the essence ID too, as I don't have that either.
Otherwise, I believe I'm completely stuck here now.
Unfortunately, these don't seem to add to my player inventory.
It just says: "Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun, line 1: Item 'AANauticalCharts' not found for parameter ObjectID. Compile script not saved!"
The same is true for the other IDs. I guess this is to do with it being a mod, it's not references within the item IDs array? What would you suggest? I'd rather not go back to a save I made before entering the boss room, as it was over 6 hours ago at this point.
Okay, although that didn't work, I've solved the issue.
I dropped an item to test something related to item IDs, but it fell through the floor. Turning off the collision to grab it, I noticed the boss' body under the floor, so I was able to loot him and get what I needed, I guess there's a collision bug somewhere?
Either way, thank you for your time, I will continue to play through this now :)
I really really liked the idea, but the execution not so much... I use better saves mod so I got stuck in this unnecessarily large zone without a pre-mod save in a matter of minutes... okay my fault for that one, but there definitely should be a contingency escape to leave the place and forsake ever coming back as a punishment.
Explain that a little bit for me. Would this contingency be like a consumable or other one-time use item that you can use to escape the current dungeon you are in? Or did you mean something else?

Locations for those items you are missing:

Did I miss the charts or something? Are they on his body?
Thanks!
I guess I'll also need the essence ID too, as I don't have that either.

I mean, he doesn't drop any unique swords in my game. Just the essence, the charts, and a fine steel cutlass. What am I doing wrong?
