Thank you, i'm very happy you like them. It's been a long time since i've made these and i don't know if i would be able to simply change the colours like i could a couple years ago. Unfortunately i don't have the project file anymore and would have to edit the textures themselves, which i'm not sure would maintain their quality, or entirely remake them. I haven't even logged onto nexus in a long time, just happened to come check things out today. Sorry.
Really like the icons. It is true that they disappear to the map, but it is also kind of good unless you're looking some place faraway then it might be harder to find stuff, but overall i love it!

This mod is a icon texture replacer, something that shows unique items on map would be more along the lines of what map marker overhaul does in adding markers to locations that didn't have markers before, however it does not have this feature you request. Your best bet would probably be adding markers to the unique items you want marked yourself in the CS or even just use map marker overhaul and place your own map markers in game for the places you desire to have marked.

As said in the description, can you make other colors? I think black may be a bit more readable than red
