Do you think maybe this could work with "Sutch Village" as well? I have a patch and use both so its quite frustrating seeing as how they both use different colors and emblems for the guards.
Yes it could be made to work as a uniform replacer as an addon or inclusion to the Sutch Unification Patch. Sutch Unification - Uniforms does that very thing. I would be willing to help make that happen.
Just remember that Local Guards makes each individual guard unique, so you’d have to go beyond the simple replacer approach of my mod if you want that functionality.
(Not that you need my permission, but I’d be totally fine if you updated your patch with my idea. My mod doesn’t have a ton of dls, and I’d rather more people got the full Sutch Unification experience.)
Thank you for that, it was something that many people had requested and I never got around to fixing. My original plan was to use Silent Resident's outfit on guards inside the city and around the village. Arthmoor's guard outfit was to be used for the waterfront around Oyster Bay.
Now with Mixxa's excellent outfit on the scene, I would see that going to Castle guards and possibly City Gate post as a specialized outfit. Anyway...just my personal take on it. To be clear, I have no intention of hijacking mixxa's work. Its just some thoughts that could very easily be implemented.
Not to worry about any hijacking All clear from my side for you both to use the armor for such a purpose, if you want to. (In return, mhahn, I would like to be allowed to use your Knights of the Thorn Armor Replacer, the textures of it would come in very handy when I try to create some unique armor for them ), but just make sure to pay attention to the permissions from the people I used ressources from (but that should be all clear too, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to use them in the first place ).
It's been 13 months since this thread of comments happened, but I'm here to express interest in the ImpeREAL Sutch / Arthmoor's Sutch / Sutch Unification / Sutch Unification Uniforms / Sutch Local Guard Features combination. Though, when I type it out like that it sure seems like I'm asking for a lot.
I don't actually use impereals version of sutch but I was able to copy over the meshes and everything from mixxa77 into my "new" mod that just used the meshes and textures. Then I made new entries in tes4edit based on mixxa's entries to give the sutch village guards the armor from this mod. If you've got an hour or two, it's really not too difficult if you know your way around xedit and how to properly package folders. If you're using impereals version I don't think you'd even have to make new entries for the armor.
I got this to work with ZOO by switching the master from the Local Guard Features esp to the ZOO esp with Wrye Bash. I figured it was safe since the former is included in the latter. It works great!
How did you add citizens there?? I remember from the Sutch mod that there was absolutely no city life and all people (the few that even existed in Sutch) stayed in their houses all the time. This was even the reason why I uninstalled the mod, because with no city life, no interesting shops and really nothing to do there's simply no reason to visit this city.
Citizens have been in Impereal Sutch for as long as I’ve used it; less than a year tbh, but I don’t think it’s been updated at all recently. They don’t have quests, I don’t think, but they are there. You could use something like Refskope to prove that it’s Impereal Sutch that’s added them.
That's strange, I never met a citizen there outside his house and I didn't bother to look into the construction set because all info I could get then is that there are indeed citizens added, but where they'll wander around isn't specified unless I fumble around with their AI packages to find out.
Excellent! I've been waiting to see what was next ever since you did the Kvatch addon. This looks really unique, blending a new look as envisioned by Silent Resident while keeping ties to the vanilla game. I'll be sure to download it.
You should really make versions for Knights of The Thorn and Knights of The White Stallion. I tried my hand at Knights of the Thorn quite some time ago, but I think you might do a better job of it.

I imagine this will work with ZOO as well, since you merged Local Guard Features with it, right?
I added a version that's fully compatible with ZOO for anyone else interested, it's under "optional files" in the "files" tab.
