Didn't actually try it, but thanks for the laugh. Just played this quest again and thought how useless he is and how stupid of the game to tell me he saved me. then I came here and saw this title. Made my day!
I noticed in NPC vs NPC situation, any Touch spells aren't going to work against each other, due to its short range and their fast, unpredictable movement. So I figured his Absorb Health spell hardly ever gonna hit anyone, and I gave him fast, and ranged Shock Damage spell instead.
Regardless, the projectile will be slow and hard to actually hit. I already told you the reason why I choose Shock Damage spell. Remember that this mod focuses on Count Hassildor to actually do something to help the player. If I were to give him a spell that never gonna hit anything, there's no point for making so.
