About this mod

Allows you to enchant armor and clothing with multiple effects, as well as enchanting arrows. | This mod is an attempt at making TheTalkieToaster's magnificent "Enchantment Enhanced" mod less easy to exploit and more "Vanilla Oblivion" like in terms of balance and usage.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
To make it easy, below is the original description given by TheTalkieToaster. I will strike or write parts that have been changed or removed.
(Don't get scared by the partially german screenshots, anything the mod touches or adds is in english.)

Requires at least OBSE v15
Technically doesn't require Soulgem Magic by TheNiceOne, but it is very frustrating to use EE without Soulgem Magic, because !!only prefilled soulgems work for multiple enchantments!!. Soulgem Magic solves this problem automatically (and is an awesome mod besides that).

Enchantment Enhanced is a (near) seamless overhaul of the enchantment system designed to work with any and all methods of enchanting (modded
and vanilla), and expand the range of options available to the player by a vast amount.
  • Enchant bundles of arrows! One soul gem will enchant as many arrows as a normal weapon would get strikes from the enchantment.
  • Enchant multiple effects on clothes and armour! Multiple Enchantment now appears as an option on the enchantment menu (displacing 'light'). Select it, and you'll be given the option to add effects up to the total of the soulgem you just used (e.g. a lesser soulgem of 300 charge could give you two petty effects of 150).
(The "light" effect is no longer displaced, making it possible to enchant items with this effect again.)
  • Trade off benefits with negative enchantments! When making a multiple enchantment, any hostile effect gives you extraenchantment magnitude to spend. Adding a negative effect will give you enough charge for a positive effect of equal magnitude. This can be used to for example start off with a petty gem of 150 charge and add a negative petty enchantment of Weakness to Fire for an extra 150 charge, giving you 300 charge to spend on positive effects- enough for a lesser effect.
(Negative effects now scale with the power of the soulgem: Previously it was possible, for example, to receive 1600 charge for a grand fire damage effect of 5 points, which was the same magnitude as from a petty soul gem. Negative effects like these now scale, making a grand fire damage actually a grand fire damage and do more than just 5 points, as such, this system is now less easy to exploit.)
  • Put constant-effect enchantments on weapons! Simply select "Multiple enchantments" when enchanting a weapon, and you can create a constant-effect enchantment that will be added to you when you equip the weapon, and removed when you unequip it.
(This feature has been disabled, as I myself felt that weapons shouldn't have constant effect enchantments. Another good excuse is to say it is more vanilla friendly. :P)
  • Scribe scrolls! With nothing more than a cheap-ish enchanted quill available from
Calendil or lying around any number of Mages' Guilds, and a soulgem, you can create your own scrolls.
(This feature has also been disabled. With reasons same as above.)
  • Learn spells from scrolls! Find a scroll, hold left mouse button and tap RMB. You can now turn the scroll into a spell. Voila.
(Has been disabled. That is a tough one. I love the idea of it, but it pretty much renders the initial use of scrolls useless, doesn't it? And to just pretend they are a sort of spellbook, they are too cheap aren't they? I would like to know your opinion on this. Feel free to comment or send a PM regarding this.
UPDATE: An alternative version of EE Abridged has been added, where this feature has been activated.)

All these will work with any method of enchantment you care to name, from the vanilla altars to modded-in spells and portable altars. Download, and start trying to figure out ways to exploit it today!
