Introduction
Hello,
this is a guide intended to make you experience Nehrim the way I envision it to be; everything written inside the guide is my personal opinion on how a player should experience Nehrim for first or nth playthroughs.  As such, the guide purpose is to  improve Nehrim, remove annoyances, make it
better visually, not add things out of place.

Why now?
I feel like Enderal Forgotten Stories will be out soon, so it was a good time for me to both write this guide and also to play Nehrim.

What this guide will be and won’t be.
I will not add step by step instrucitons on how to install mods and so on. This guide is hinted to people that have experience with Wrye Bash and actually want a starting guide on which are the best mods to be installed.

What do I need?

Purist mods
(these are the mods that I can recommend to everyone out there, they don’t pose any threat to the core concepts of Nehrim) :

ORN: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45554

WARNING! You have also to install the prerequisites.

WARNING! This is the hardest mod to install. If you are able to install this, you are able to install every mod linked in this guide, but also every mod out
there for Oblivion.  As soon as you install this mod, you have to stop modding, start the game and try to go through the tutorial. You will meet a person right at the beginning.

If the game doesn’t crash when you meet him\her (can’t remember) you have installed the mod correctly and you can go ahead (choose if ahead with the playthrough or modding.

Anti annoyance mod (purist or not? You decide):

+ 5 ATTRIBUTE MODIFIERS. I hate to think about having to power play in a game.
So a +5 attribute modifiers is absolutely needed  (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2691)

FAST TRAVEL. Traveling all the time became annoying after a bit. There is also the issue that if you fast travel you may mess scripts and so on especially when you are supposed to reach certain destinations  There are two alternatives there:

(lore purist) https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/38959/?tab=description [clean with tesedit]
With this you avoid the issues of messing stuff, because you will be able to fast travel to places only if you complete the quest that is made in a way to avoid you messing with scripts.

(TERMINATE THE ISSUE path) https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45738/

Suggestion for power players:

You have to improve from level 1 Intelligence or Endurance because it seems (?) they aren’t retroactive. So every time you level up, always improve Int, End, Luck.
