Dec 14, 2021 I found the culprit: I missed to set the condition that the light source should move to the player every 6 frames and not every frame when the Torch Mode is activated. This messed up the timer of one quest script from Abyss Demon and may mess up every other script that uses timers. I will release a fixed version soon. Edit: done
Dec 13, 2021 All of my Oblivion projects were on hold for several months and I cancelled the seamless vanilla body, race and gear project which I released as a resource. During the development of Abyss Demon I noticed that one of the the Sonic Screwdriver scripts interferes with one scene of the Abyss Demon main quest. I will look into this since I still want to release the quest portion of my demonic race mod whenever that will be.
These are possible causes: - conflicting mods: Do you have any mods installed that use the V key as well? - Oblivion Reloaded: If you have Oblivion Reloaded installed, please read my note for Oblivion Reloaded users below the video in the mod description. - OBSE: There are several versions of OBSE available, e. g. for Oblivion DVD version or for the Steam version of Oblivion. If you have the Steam version, please read this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/22330/discussions/0/610573009234205891/. If you have the DVD version, you need to start the game with a double-click on the obse-loader.exe. - Windows UAC: the user account control can cause problems when Oblivion is installed under Program Files. So it's better to install it outside this directory (I installed the game under D:\Oblivion)
I cannot replicate this error. Maybe another one of your installed mods interferes with first person/third person camera settings. I only use "IsThirdPerson" (an OBSE command) to check if the player is in third person view. Do you use the latest OBSE version?
yeah i do pretty much everything relies on obse the only mods i have that might conflict are enhanced camera and oblivion reloaded sorry about the late reply been under a rock lately
I use Enhanced Camera as well and didn't experience this problem. This mod is probably not the culprit. The next step you can do is disabling any camera related settings of oblivion reloaded, so that the camera is set back to default Oblivion.
May 27, 2020: During the last 2 years I worked on Abyss Demon and I'm still working on it. I began another project two weeks ago which is needed for the seamless default body version of Abyss Demon. You can find more information about this new project here
I doubt if I will realize my (old) plans for the future since my interest in the Doctor Who series declined. Yes, it's still a great series but the fire and passion I felt 2 years ago is gone.
Plans for the future (2018):
I plan to create a Doctor companion using the Doctor NPC of this mod as base. No CM Partner or similar. I want to make his personality as unique as possible. That's why I will write all companion dialogues and scripts myself. Maybe I will do a Skyrim version of the Sonic Screwdriver as well. But before I do this I like to finish some unfinished projects first. I put them off in favor of new modding projects and other games (like Enderal) for a long time. I'm still learning to prioritize.
I don't know. All I can say that this was a lot trial and error. Sometimes, I was tearing my hair out when something didn't work after countless attempts and hours of research on the internet. But consulting my pillow helped me a lot when this happended,. You did create sonics as well? That's really nice .

Und die Umsetzung ist sogar noch besser.
