It was my dream to give the Vanilla body a second life, making it seamless with improved body textures, alongside seamless equipment. At the beginning with the Seam Mender script (part of Room207's Blender Portable), later with a new method, the socket method: a joined upper body and head neck which I widened at the seam and wrapped it around the original neck. I described the socket method in detail here.
The project is cancelled but the reason isn't important at this point (if you are curious: I mentioned it in the readme). That other modders benefit from the work I've done and the knowlegde I've gathered, it's all that matters. I included the most important project files, a tutorial about editing head .egm files, some texture conversion templates for bodies (Vanilla body <> HGEC/Robert Male) and heads (Vanilla or Classic head <> Head06), and .xcf templates (for Gimp) which can be used in conjunction with the seamless template .blend files; instructions can be found in the readme.
Playable versions of the files are inside the RC subfolders for testing but are not meant to be used in a regular playthrough as the project is incomplete, only the Imperials and some outfits for the females are done so far.
