Works like a charm also works with basic OBMM. I would rather not use the Unofficial Oblivion Patch because UOP tends to break things mainly exterior location doors turning Doors into a big Red Exclamation mark which is ugly as sin.
Mystic Emporium Fix for OCO (Oblivion Character Overhaul): Just make sure you put this fix at the very bottom of your load order under any .ESM and .ESP related to Oblivion Character Overhaul.
You are missing on a lot, by not using something like MO2 + Wrye Bash. It's not harder to use, actually it brings a lot of benefits and they make modding so much easier.
These days, get OCOv2 - Advanced Edition and you should be fine for most incompatibilities. I haven't tested each and everyone, but this and the DLC Addon do already a great job. There seem to be also newer better fixes around for other things, than this one imo.
Use together with Wrye Bash, and it resolves if not all, almost all other issues automatically (like this one too), with other mods too, which would require patches otherwise. Mine has merged in a bashed patch lots of conflicting or otherwise overwritten entries all together and preserved all changes from different DLCs and mods.
Without a bashed patch, and OCOv2, you're guaranteed to fight issues all the time, as you add more mods.
So I'm having a pretty random (but potentially serious/game-breaking in a worst-cast scenario) bug with the ME now and I haven't found anyone else anywhere on the internet talking about it. I never did any kind of fix for the always-closed bug, I just broke in one time and then it went to normal business hours cycle on its own. Now I've found that whenever I try to sell something to Calindil and leave the shop (or try to save the game), I CTD and my save file becomes corrupted. This doesn't seem to happen with Aurelinwae though, thank goodness, so it's not a huge deal. I have no idea how to go about fixing this, so just a heads-up for anyone who may read this when trying to fix Mystic Emporium, when you do eventually get it open, SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE YOU DO ANY BUSINESS WITH CALINDIL JUST IN CASE YOU RUN INTO THE SAME ISSUE!
*Is it possible that the consequence of just breaking into the shop instead of applying a proper fix for the bug is that it somehow messes up your ability to sell to Calindil and corrupts your save?
Can't get it to work. Everything is installed correctly, it just crashes my game when I wait outside for it to open. Uninstall and it doesn't crash anymore, but I still have the problem.
This is an infuriating bug that I can not squash. With or without this patch, I can look in my bashed patch and see that Calindil has the correct faction (ICMysticEmporiumFaction). I look into the Frostcraig Spire Unofficial patch and see in block 9 sub block 7 that it is owned by ICMysticEmporiumFaction. The doors (in Persistent) are both owned by ICMysticEmporiumFaction. There is nothing loading after this patch that changes data. Yet the door is always locked, and Calindil (or anyone) can/will not enter the shop. As I have said, I have tried with and without this patch, and everything in the bashed patch is at it should be (like I stated above). If anyone has any insight to this, it would be much appreciated!!!!!
I mean, I 'fixed' it by unlocking both doors with the console, and the door behaves normally now (front door locks at 8); it would just be nice to know the why exactly it has to be done like this.
Unfortunately the mismatch is a problem with OCO. I've had very good results using the Seamless series along with Robert's Male body replacer (included in Seamless). Nuska also set it up in OCO for High Elves to use the Golden Saint resources, so without Seamless it can be very noticeable. The Robert's textures look very good IMO, better than any females I've found actually.
I saw a couple NPCs in town (from Crowded Cities, I think) that had no pants on. Probably because I switched from Crowded Cities 30 to 15 in my adding/removing of ESPs to narrow my search for neck seams during my playtesting. At least none of them have neck seams now. I took out Sensual Walk for Females, in case it caused neck seams to re-appear. I don't know if it messes with NPC appearances.
I'm hoping the butt cheeks will clear up when I start a new game.

ADDED:
That did the trick! Excellent. Thank you.
