About this mod
Makes staves in the vanilla game feel more diverse visually by replacing them with the wonderful models made available for the community by Trollf.
To be clear this is an visual overhaul only, that replaces vanilla staves for new ones, and tries to represent their properties better it does not add new items.

As for the mod... basically it all started with me wanting to play oblivion as a pure mage, but the visually variety of the staffs in this game really leave a lot to be desired, even for the ones that in shape are different, due to the monotonous color tone and shade used it still felt the same...Now while there are some nice modded staffs available out there for me they take a lot of focus away from the game's content, i wanted to enjoy the story lore and satisfaction of being able to wield for instance a legendary daedric staff while still looking good and not like a peasant with withered twigs, i also wanted to enjoy my daedric or unique rewards flaunting them around after acquiring them. And this is basically what this mod tries to address, for staffs at least, it tries to keep the focus on the content not just due to the mechanics but visually as well. I mainly made it for myself but i tried to polish it as much as i could and tried to attribute each staff so that it represents as best as possible the weapon its suppose to represent, this mainly to release it if other people who might have a similar dilemma. Hope you enjoy the mod.
Okay now for the technical stuff,
Requirements:
Latest version of Oblivion with SI installed.
Installation:
to install just extract the following files and folders from the archive to your Oblivion\Data folder:
Meshes
Textures
strTrollfstaffreplacer.esp
Removal/Uninstall:
All you have to do is delete "strTrollfstaffreplacer.esp" and the following folders:
Meshes\00STRstaffReplacer
Textures\00STRstaffReplacer
Textures\Menus\Icons\00strstaffsico\
And that's pretty much it, i tried it to make it as conflict free and easy to keep track as possible.
