Does not work, or it is a bit confusing to properly understand by the settings "1000" as in ini file, there are several explanations on what should be changed to insta kill with for example hand to hand skill. I like the idea of this, since the console commands won't seem to help me at all. I want to have the 1 hit kill enabled, mostly for the memes.
Not sure if the author is active anymore, but regardless the hits and kills do not seems to get registered by the system as a crime. I managed to one punch kill everyone in the market district without getting even a single penny as a bounty.
1. So, what happens when our stats are so low that we get negative values? Do the negative values round to 0, thus making it a matter of Luck x 0.1 = ?% chance for critical?
Or, do we end up having a negative chance at criticals?
2. Does this MOD replace the game's vanilla criticals , , , or other MOD's critical chance alterations? Or is this MOD's criticals an isolated criticals system that still allows Vanilla criticals to happen that do only a little more damage than normal?
Is it possibly to add oblivion XP support? If an enemy dies from a critical hit, they net you no experience. *EDIT* Alright what really needs to be done is to make the critical damage register as damage from the player, this should fix everything
In the .ini it says to set iKill.onPush to 1 if I want critical hits to produce stagger effect, however, with this setting characters still get knocked to the ground with critical strikes.
I was wondering if there is a way to suppress the sound effect for crits when it is someone other than the player who crits? I hear crit sounds as I walk around in the woods sometime because some NPCs are fighting in that cell. :P
This sounds interesting, i will give it a try. Anyone knows if there is a mod that only checks when the player shot or hits the head of an Actor or Creature and multiplies an "X" amount of damage? that's basically all i need. There are a couple of mods here in Nexus that add locational damage, but they also add a bunch of very crazy features and are also obsolete or unsupported.
Here to make a suggestion. I was thinking about an option to make the luck stat more useful. Like a classic rpg by increasing the luck stat, you can increase your chances to do a critical strike without any factors based on your enemy stats. for example maybe a stat of 100 luck can give you 25% critical strike chance. What do you think?
Actually this can easily be done, all I did was disable all of the other calculations and changed the value of luck so now the crit is solely based on the amount of luck you have.
