ABOUT PROJECT AMBIENCE:
These city-specific mods are just proofs of concept for testing and ideas
(and should be treated as such) I will hopefully add to the actual P.A.
(tweaked and improved). The
actual mod will contain (for its urban part) many fx per city as
appriopriate (no snow in Cheydinal for instance, no dust clouds in
Bruma, etc).
They are very rough and de facto incomplete. But I thought I'd release them anyway.

Official Thread: here

11/10: ADDED CANDLE PACK
Contains all candles except sconces enclosed in metal frames, and the big chandeliers, as both would be invisible pretty much.

11/10 ADDED HOTFIX for missing/bugged wallsconces. Overwrite when asked.

11/10: ADDED LANTERN PACK
Should contain all lit lanterns, for vanilla only for now as Real Lights swaps meshes around and I can't seem to find which exactly and make it work

DESCRIPTION:

This is a beta for Smoking Firesources.
For now, it only adds smoke to torches (vanilla torch02).

I tweaked the animation to look best given the full variety of situations and especially the big, almost crippling, limitations Oblivion smoke shader has.

By default, the smoke emitter is located at mid-top flame (REGULAR), but there's also:
1)LOW to have the torch emit smoke out of the base-center of the flame (as in real life)
2)HIGH to have the smoke above the flame

I also included a variety of optional textures, by default the torch will emit grey, thin smoke but there's also:

-slim white/black
-funky grey/black
-puffy white/grey/black

I personally use LOW with SLIM BLACK smoke textures.

Highly recommended the optional M.I.P. version, if you already haven't got Mesh Improvement Project get it!
You can manually choose what to install. It is required for the optional version!

Adds ambience, provided you're using something like Exterior Actors Have Torches

Check the pictures.. also added 2 videos in 1080p.
One in daylight and one at night (feat Exterior Actors Have Torches) in Chorrol, for some reason all choppy and laggy and stuff.

Next:
- smoking lanterns (I'm having trouble with Real Lights)
- smoking candles  (think tiny subdued almost invisible as in real life)
-Real Lights version for the lanterns pack

ISSUES:
-Drop Lit Torches: when dropped, the smoke will still move in the direction of the body of the torch, not vertically

COMPATIBILITY:

Should be compatible with all torches mods provided they do not alter the default torch model
Torches added by mods with unique/modified  meshes will not display the smoke
M.I.P. version avaliable

REQUIREMENTS:
None at the moment.

INSTALL:
Use NMM or copy/paste
For the M.I.P. version, override when asked (replaces 1 mesh)

BASH:

I don't know yet.
After falling leaves.esp, or anyway near the latter part of your load order (not that it matters I think)

CREDITS:
Sam Lake for one picture (and the smoke emitter that started it all!)
AWLS for another I think?
