==> Discovery1 has left Nexus on 10/7/17. His files are no longer available.

The patch comes in the form of a Windows batch file (plus the actual data). Drop a line if this poses a problem. To be clear: The patch is not needed for the WIZBAIN to operate.

For Pherim's new normal maps for Vanilla Flavour ivies, I have made an aniGIF comparison on Nexus' image share.

A curiosity I just remembered to ask, on the chance that you may know the answer: if a grass & flora mod like this one that has only meshes and textures (no esp) is installed (in Wrye Bash) over another grass & flora mod (Grass Overhaul for example) that adds much more grass & flora to the world along with new meshes and textures, but has no meshes or textures shown in Wrye Bash to be overridden, it only has an esp, what will happen?

I know if the two mods have only meshes and textures (and no esp's) one will simply override all the conflicting meshes and textures of the other, but when an esp is added I don't know how that affects things. The result I would like to have is the esp mod (Grass Overhaul) add all its new grass and flora to the world, then this mod override any conflicting meshes and textures so even more of this mod's grass & flora is added to the world than it alone would add. But is that possible in a situation like this?

Textures and meshes are being read from disk at runtime. The mod cares only about the filenames. So, sure, happy mixing! I've even made a tool (mod 45602 "Juggler") that does that, but nobody uses it, perhaps because it's highly unprofessional, including, but not restricted to, its look & feel. But it still works!

I'm surprised, didn't expect to find out that it will actually work that way! Thanks for explaining, and a kudos for you!

"Juggler" is a good name for it, catches interest.

I originally posted to report a problem of plants partially vanishing when looking in a certain direction, but then I noticed the problem was still present after uninstalling this mod. Not sure if it was the number of conflicting grass and flora mods I had (not that many, but I know how easily the old game engine is bogged down) or one of the mods I removed, but I've got it fixed now.

And while I'm here, I just want to say how impressed I am with this mod collection. I had previously installed it along with a few other mods that overrode at least some of it, so apparently missed out on a lot. This re-mod I'm taking my time to carefully install and test often (I didn't immediately notice the problem mentioned above because the few mods I installed after this collection were for other things, so I only checked those few specific things since none of those mods should have affected this one), plus am trimming my total number of mods to only keep those I like most, so only now did I see all this collection has to show. Magnificent!

Hello, I didn't catch your first post, but this sounds much like the infamous Vanishing / Disappearing Grass Bug. There are mods for that, but it's good to hear that you got that fixed already.
In any case, since I am not the modder, I would not be have been of much help, really; Discovery1 (the mod author) sadly passed away last fall.

It makes me glad when I hear that people enjoy his art.

I edited that first post rather than leave it as it was, since it was quite long and no longer relevant. There are mods to fix that? Guess I have to do a little searching.

I heard about that, a great loss to the modding community. He made a real masterpiece with this collection.

To believe.. I only discovered your BAINs after discovery1's abrupt departure. How sad. I just hope he's doing well! Thanks for your work on this, I know all too well how much effort it takes to put something like this together! Downloaded so I can endorse, and show my gratitude better than I apparently did for discovery1.

mmmh..Maybe I have a weird question but... Have I to mark one of the Base sub packages in the wizard ?

You select exactly _one_ as the _base_ package; there are no boxes to tick off -- I guess this is what confuses you? Just click on a line (e.g. "v4 - Fantasmagoria" ). It should turn blue. This will be your base package. Click on "Next" to proceed.

What your screenshot is showing is the summary: this is what the wizard is going to install. You cannot perform changes here. Scroll down that list, and you will - hopefully - see one "[ ] NNN Base" box activated {unless you chose "None" as the base package }.

Thank you kindly for putting these together - I really appreciate it.

(Kudos to you, too, since I can't endorse your compilation the way I'm doing with Discovery1's originals.)

On 31-10-2014 Discovery1 said on the Vanilla Flavour page: "added a performance version 2 file. This has a few new textures and a bit more swapping around for blend purposes. I will upload a high res version 2 in the next few days."
I am going to wait with the update until then.
