Nvm got it to work, apparently OBMM didn't actually disable the esps in the actual launcher. Although I'm kinda sad that default elves don't have black sclera and the hair textures aren't all HQ. But it works at least. Maybe if I delete the eye textures for the elves that'll work?

Hi, i'm not sure if you're still working with this, but i just have to say i loved this merge.
The only problem i'm having is that it seems this compilation replace some of the eyes and hairstyles already existant in the normal OCOv2...
    Maybe i'm doing something wrong?
If not, please please please please, find some way to fix it, i would do it my self but i have no idea haha
Thanks for the mod, i absolutely will use it in the future, with another character.

Have you got the correct Mods - i.e. Complete Cosmetic Compilation 1.8 and the latest Oblivion Overhaul? Make sure that you have and then follow the instructions again. Also don't forget to use ArchiveInvalidated.

Thanks for the reply. What i meant was that this compilation replaces for some reason the hairstyles and eye textures from OCOv2 to the vanilla ones. for example, this mod changes the beautiful High elven Artic eyes ( from the OCOv2 mod) with the bland, blue eyes. It's sad because all of those new beautiful fitting hairstyles and eye textures used by the NPCS are changed by the normal, bland vanilla ones. And yes, i'm using the updated ocov2 and cosmetic compilation stuff

I've noticed the hair problem as well. I don't think much can be done without using the construction set or other mods, but you could try this mod for the eyes if you haven't already: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/46995/?

All I can suggest is using WryeBash and checking for any missing hairs and eyes when you install the mods. There is a very helpful tutorial on it by Alternity I think. I am still learning how to use it myself so I cannot suggest more at the moment.

Thanks for the help, guys. I will just have to learn how to use Wryebash, I suppose. It seems very complicated, though. Cheers!

Then you done something wrong. Did you delete esp files from CCC mod, do you have any other racechanding mod? If you really interested, you can post you load order cuz googley eyes appearing when custom meshes and vanilla textures meet each other and they cant in this esp, so something wrong on your side. If you not interested... cant do anything about this as well.

I'm going to give it another try ... it looks awesome!!!

I'm just in the process of putting together another set of Mods for another playthrough, and this was one of the first things installed ... so, it shouldn't have conflicted with anything else, but hey ... perhaps I messed up a step ... quite possible ...

Just found this buried within the CCC 1.8 readme file ::

Step #5. Uncheck 'MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp' (required records are included in CCC.esp) ...

perhaps this has something to do with it?

      I did not disable 'MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp' before ...

      ==================================================
      ==================================================

      It worked!!!

Thank you for taking the time to encourage me not to give up on this awesome Compilation ... well worth the effort!!!

I already had a self-modified version of OCO V2.03 installed

Added the resources from CCC 1.8 [minus the .esp plugins]

Deleted the 'default' OCO V2.03 .esp as well as the 'MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp' from Robert's Male Bodies ...

Installed the 'Oblivion Character Overhaul.esp' from here ...

Perfection!!! ... with one small exception with the Norse race included within 'Viking Village.esp' ... which was an easy fix within Tes4Edit ... merely had to map the eyes to the CCC meshes instead of Vanilla ... [may as well add the rest of the eyes as well] ...

FYI ... this Compilation is also 100% compatible with 'Xenius Race Compilation' .... which adds some really awesome 'dark' races to the mix as well .... I highly recommend it!!!

Thank you once again for your good work ...

      ENDORSED!!!

For whatever reason, I don't have a readme file, so thanks for pointing this out! I use OCO2, CCC, and the seamless OCO 'idiot' package (since for whatever reason, the BAIN version doesn't work right no matter how I install it). The above mods don't include a MaleBodyReplacerV5.esp, and I didn't need to delete the .esp from OCOV2 since I'm using MO2 and it just overwrites it, but doing the bashed patch fixed it for me. Thank you :D Now my Khajiits don't have googly eyes anymore :)

Edit: Interestingly, I'm getting the double-face bug on EVERY npc now. I even tried deleting OCO's .esp and remaking the bashed patch. Turning off OCOCCC fixes it, but they're much uglier and I lose all the hair and eye options. I've tried a whole bunch of things to fix the bug to no avail so far. Hmm...

I followed the install instructions posted below by FireTehVahu, most hairstyles display correctly. However, once I get to a certain point when browsing through the hairstyles, several do appear just black and then eventually my game will crash in the same place each time. I tried reinstalling the hair textures again, assuming maybe some did not copy correctly, and I did also add the archive invalidation through OBMM. Not sure what's wrong. What does work is great though and adds a lot of options.

Your problem sounds similar to Elflady's post down below. You may need to remove the offending hairs with TES4Edit and/or use a bashed patch to solve conflicts with the hairs/eyes. I haven't tested this mod through OBMM myself, but it does work in my configuration with Wrye Bash, aside from the half the races not getting the new eye textures.

Don't know if you'll see this or if it even matters anymore, but... My suspicion - though it's just a suspicion - is the problem is simply that CCC is just too HUGE. It's eating up too many resources as you flip through the options. That's based on my experiences with both Oblivion and Skyrim. In Skyrim, when the game starts running out of memory, the textures start going black. Then the game crashes - same as was happening with this. Restart and it's fine. But I've been reinstalling Oblivion, have made some major pc upgrades since last time i played, and this time, I can flip through every single hair and eye option without a problem. (I managed to find myself a whole different problem this time around. Typical.) But if you're seeing black, the texture files are there; if they were missing or corrupted, you'd be seeing the purple meshes. My best guess is that the computer just doesn't have enough juice to get through all of them. Which is why my original solution worked - it cut down the number of textures it was trying to load, freed up resources.

I totally agree with you - the mod is just too overwhelming for the game engine of Oblivion. I am going to try to use it again now that a new OBSE mod has recently been added called SkyBSA which changes the way the memory is used.- I can't remember how to do links (old age is creeping up on me LOL) - https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49568

It definitely seems that way. I can get through one instance of all of the options on any given race but when I try to go through it again, Oblivion will typically crash on the 2nd go around. Also, if you change races after going through the options, then the eye options won't be available and you'll be stuck with amber eyes since it's the default (not sure on the hairs).

Also, I think it is important to mention that I'm using the 4GB patch for this (I think it may be practically required in order to see all the options) and my pc has 32GB of RAM and I do keep programs running in the background since I have plenty of memory.

I think that this is superb. With one exception the races now have plenty of hairs and eyes to suit my taste and by careful use of textures my characters are practically seamless without using the Seamless mods for OCO

However the poor Khajit have "googly" eyes. After checking my installation with TES4Edit and the esp file that you created I get these lines of text in the report:

00:03] Background Loader: [Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp] Building reference info.
[00:03] Background Loader: Error: record TES4 contains unexpected (or out of order) subrecord DATA 41544144
[00:03] Background Loader: Errors were found in: [TES4:00000000]
[00:03] Background Loader: Contained subrecords: HEDR CNAM SNAM MAST DATA DATA

As the TES4Edit processing goes through really quickly and finishes without issue it took me some time to find this. I am wondering whether these records have something to do with the Khajit eyes. If any one knows, or knows how to find out I would be very grateful indeed

I don't think it's related to googly eyes, considering I got the same error. I think that error in TES4edit occurs because of merged records from one mod to another get combined so naturally it would out of order.

If Khajits are the only ones getting googly eyes then you must have another cosmetic mod besides ccc that edits khajits and is installed before OCO. OCO must have vanilla eyes in order for it to work properly.

Here's my current install order (relative to OCO) to give you a reference:

      (plugins)
      -OBSE
      -Blockhead

      (OBMM)
      - HGEC Body with BBB vdot12
      - EVE_HGEC_BodysStock and Clothing OMOD
      - NoMaaM BBB Animation Replacer
      - NoMaaM Breathing Idles V1 OMOD

      (Wrye Bash)
      - BBB for Eve
      - HGEC Robert Feet
      - Oblivion Character Overhaul v203
      - HGEC Texture compatibility addon
      - Roberts Male Body replacer texture compatibility
      - CCC 1.8 Eyes
      - CCC 1.8 Hair Meshes 1
      - CCC 1.8 Hair Meshes 2
      - CCC 1.8 Hair Meshes 3
      - CCC 1.8 Hair Textures
      - CCC 1.8 Readme (I repackaged this for WB by adding a data folder then docs and then putting the readme in the docs folder)
      - OCO2 nostrils fix
      - OCOCCC11
      - New Eyes for OCO
      - SR - OCOv2 BAIN
      - SE - Robert Male v5.2 CORE
      - SE HGEC BBB all-in-1
      - TNP - OCOv2 Khajit Male Body
      - Lunas OCO Khajit Fix
      - Lunas OCOv2 Dremora replacer
      (I don't have these yet)
      - [SE - Khats & Args]
      - [Seamless Equipment to work with other mods]

Make sure you uninstall Robert Male Body Replacer v52. It's a required step in installing Seamless Robert's.

Since Seamless was released, getting everything to work correctly seems more complicated than it is because all of the information is scattered all over the place. Even this mod itself is not so simple anymore with seamless out.

Even after all of this, only half the races don't have eye options other than amber: Nord, Orc, Bosmer, Argonian and Redguards. They do have their hair options though.

I should just Drag&rop data fields using TES4EDIT from those mod/fix plugins into OCO plugin... instead of having so many plugins active just for minor fixes/addons.
Less plugins = more stabilty / easier loadorder.

    I have noticed that...

    Headhuman_f.dds
    Headhuman_m.dds

Works fine. Blockhead keep male/female textures separately, but...

Normal Maps will not load as:

    HeadHuman_f_n.dds
    HeadHuman_m_n.dds

But well they work only as age maps like

    HeadHumanF10.dds
    HeadHumanF10_n.dds
    HeadHumanM10.dds
    HeadHumanM10_n.dds
    ...and so on

And they will replace "global" normal map (as just HeadHuman_n.dds as SHARED for both genders (if exist))

I tried to make my own race and noticed that BlockHead just DONT recognise lines like: "HeadHuman_f_n.dds"

However if there are agemap normals... then those "global" normals arent needed anymore though.

I'm just curious... why OCO uses "HeadHuman_f_n.dds" files if they just dont work and not compatible with blockhead///
