I like the color scheme and appearance of these icons. They really stand out on colored maps.
The only problem is that for whatever reason I couldn't get them to appear in game until I installed Elven Map Redux. They didn't work with the Hi Res Color Map by Nite Initially.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has something to do with the ArchiveInvalidation.txt that comes with Elven Map because I installed Hi Res Color Map on top of Elven map and the icons finally worked for it too.
I really like the look of your icons but after installation I now CTD about 2 second after I get in game. Can I just remove the 3 map files or do I need to get new copies of the originals to put back in the folders? Please let me know soon so I can get back to the game.
Edit: The problem seems to have solved itself. After about 5 CTD I left it alone for a while and made this post and watched some anime. I tried it again just now and its working fine.
These icons look REALLY good, but it would have been a lot nicer if the "unexplored" icons were grayscale, and the "explored" icons were colored. It's difficult to tell the difference when both are really colorful. Otherwise, they look awesome! They especially look good on a colored map.
CLackyM, your MOD has worked perfectly as you stated. I've been looking for replacment icons with a bit more.. style.
In respect to the effort and time you've spent to make these, after a few hours of using the icons they begin to get annoying. Seems they're a bit too colorful and bright.
