This is an extremely well-made mod. Includes a player home and all, and a fun way to get away from guards haha.

    Thanks for contributing this mod.
I enjoyed the books, nicely written and it is fun searching around for the glyphs.
Deadly Shadows was my favorite Thief edition.

Hello asteriasennall. First, let me tell you that I love your mod concept and I consider it a massive game play improvement for thieves(not only) characters. I finished the quest, but since like many others I'm a Better Cities(version 6+) mod user, the door your mod adds in Elven Gardens District(sp?) is covered by a wall. I had to use tcl to enter the new building. I tried using both patches you provide, but none of them works(wall is still there, blocking the access). Along with the Ayleid Steps mod, I found your mod to be exactly what I want in terms of game play and immersion. Sadly, I cannot find any of the ayleid magic stones your mod add, regarding in what district I look. I would really love the have these mods working great together. I know it's been a while since it's release, but is there any chance you would recreate your patch for the new version of Better Cities? Along with the new shops it adds, BC also adds a lot of roof access for thieves and it's one of the main reasons I'm using it. Anyway, mod is great, I guess it works well in a vanilla game, so I'm endorsing it and I'll give you a kudos for your hard work.

    Cheers and beers, plenty!

PS: Any news regarding the second part of the mod?

EDIT: I've added a screenshot for better details.

It might indicate that you got a missing mesh. Verify that you installed all files. Oblivion/data/meshes is the place to look, but just copy them from the file that you downloaded, and it should be fine. Basically and usually all the subfolders (meshes, textures and so on) should go to data folder...

I installed the mod with NMM and found the apartment, I went in and got the magic key, and no glyphs seem to have appeared. where do they appear and should there have been a sign when I picked up the key aside from the quest being completed? On a side note I don't know if this is related but since the mod was installed I've been getting these massive lag periods.

There isn't really anything else after the quest completes and you have the Glyph Key. The easiest way to test if it is working right is whether or not you see a blue square tile on the wall immediately behind the key lockbox after you complete the quest and have the key. If you see that, then the glyphs have activated for you.

The keeper's journal gives hints to the general location of the Glyph Stones in the very last entry, if you prefer to try to discover them in a role-play manner. Alternatively, the easiest way to find the glyphs is in your mini map. They'll show up as doorways to "Glyph Passage" on the map. If you start out in the Apartment Complex there is one easy to notice right by the foot of the stairs.

And remember: they are only visible to a key holder! If you remove the key from your inventory you won't be able to see or use the Glyphs until you pick it up again.

I'm not sure what could be causing lag in the game. One thought is maybe you have over 300 files in your Oblivion directory now. I have found strange things happening when I go over that amount.

      Best regards,

      Jessica

No panels have appered anywhere in the impereal city, I went around every district and saw nothing. The only items that prove the mod is installed is the building itself and the key in my inventory.

Hmm, that's very odd. Can you try dropping the Glyph Key on the floor and picking it back up? The Glyph Stones are enabled upon picking up the key. The best place to test that out would be end of the stairs in the Elven Gardens Apartment Complex. You should see the Glyph Stone appear like it does here when you have picked the Glyph Key back up:

Solved the problem, I hadn't found the lever that unlocked the box but activating it while it was locked gave me the message that I had found the key and I assumed the appartment key was the Glyph key. Now that I've found the correct key the glyphs have appeared. Just thought I'd let you know.
