    Here, an amusing walkthrough someone did, for any that are interested. There are spoilers though.

    For those that have been requesting a Skyrim TARDIS, there are currently two in progress that I know of, one derived from the other. Here are links to both, just to be fair, take your pick. They are works in progress.

    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36012//?
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35774//?

    I am slowing starting up work on the update again, but life has been complicated of late, so nothing is happening quickly.

    Edit:
    In the mean time, I have posted a much smaller update with no new content that fixes several problems that people have discovered for me, so they don't have to wait longer for the fix. You just install it over your current install of the mod, and it shouldn't mess up your save games, though it is always a good idea to hold on to your last save before an update, just in case.

    Edit (9-29-13): Well, three plumbing disasters later... this Summer is really kicking me while I am down. I am still working on the update, going is just slow what with one real-life problem after another getting in the way.

    Edit (11-03-13): Someone found another bug that was bad enough to need to be fixed right away, so I am posting another update. Again, installing it is strongly recommended.

    Spoilers:
    Due to popular request, here are the locations of the sonic screwdrivers:
    All of them are in the world, none are in containers. I will give the cell first as a mild hint, then in brackets, a more specific location, then finally the form ID for those that just can't manage to find them, or who really really don't want to explore, or who lost them in some other manor. Remember to replace the 'XX' with the load order number for your TARDIS.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    Green (light): Alchemy area of Work Rooms (on the alchemy counter, it shows in one of the pics posted with the mod) [Form ID: XX3B7BB ] (Remember to replace the 'XX' )

    Blue (detect life): the wet Library (location varies, as everything gets blown about by the explosion) [Form ID: XX03B7B9 ] (Remember to replace the 'XX' )

    Yellow (disintegrate): the Cells (on the desk, where weapons confiscated from prisoners might go - being a tool of the master, it won't always work right for you) [Form ID: XX48562 ] (Remember to replace the 'XX' )

    Red (charm): at the bottom of one of the gravity-shift corridors, the one with the broom in it (yes, you can access that, as the notes imply, from the Docking Bay corridors) [Form ID: XX03B7BF ] (Remember to replace the 'XX' )

    Black (command): in the Old Corridors (on the floor, at the end of the corridor that spirals, with the hatch in the ceiling up to where the Odd Door is - being a tool of the master, it won't always work right for you) [Form ID: XX3B7BD ] (Remember to replace the 'XX' )
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    (Please don't respond to the sticky, just make a separate comment. Thanks.)

      That is a base game feature of the map, if I recall correctly.  It has been a very long time since I played Oblivion.  Google 'Oblivion waypoints', or something like that.  If you mean something actually involving weight, I have no idea.

      See front page:

      I have also included a set of alternative TARDIS Shell nifs, packaged in such a way that (hopefully) they should be fairly easy to install. There are two images comparing the various shells in the images section, and more individual images in the download, along with a readme with installation instructions. The main TARDIS file is still required.

      So read the readme in the download.

      Did you encounter the power failure?  If so, see the spoiler tags below for solution, which is also in the spoilers and solutions section of the lower part of the front page.

      Spoiler:
      Show

      In case of the power failure/Oblivion Gate crash, the solution is a bit more complicated. Look around the darkened control room, and find the TARDIS spark, a glowing crystal that should be somewhere on the floor (in the under-area of CR3). Pick it up. As it tells you, you have to wait 6 hours (in game, not real time) for the spark to charge up, and you have to actually be doing something, not using the wait or sleep function. This is a good time to go outside and look at the damage, then come back in. Explore the TARDIS a bit. If you want to leave it, use the Emergency Temporal Shift button in the Auxiliary control room to move the TARDIS to the IC. The spark will give you a message when it is charged up. If you are afraid you missed the message, just look at the spark, and it will tell you if it is uncharged, or charged. As it tells you, you now have to take it to the Eye Of Harmony cask in the center of the Auxiliary control room. Just trigger the cask, it will take the spark automatically. The TARDIS should then power back up.

      If you can't find the Auxiliary control room (the same place you went to become the piolet), the location is in the TARDIS manuals, specifically, when exiting the current control room into the TARDIS interior: Left, Left, Right, Strait on, Right, Left, through marked door.

      If you mean some other crystal, please explain at greater length.

    Hey, so you've mentioned how you'd need new resources if you wanted to update this, well I found a couple that might be nice.
    The Mage Tapestries with Arcane Signs and Dragons might be nice for a few areas: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48060
    Jahizas Shimmering Gold Palace Replacer in my opinion would be great for making parts of the the Tardis more unique: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47798
    Just a couple of ideas for you to consider. :)

      Thanks for the heads up. I never check the main page for Oblivion any more, and Nexus doesn't seem to want to inform me when I get posts here. Sorry for the delay in responding.

    Quite the fun mod here. I'm enjoying running through the TARDIS at breakneak speeds, exploring and looking for things to pick up to fuel my kleptomania. Found three sonic screwdrivers so far, Yellow, Green, and Red. Even more amusing is I didn't even read the sticky about them until I came back to endorse the mod.

    The layout IS a bit confusing, but after getting turned around enough times, I'm beginning to get the hang of it. Kind of wish many containers held items from the Doctor Who series, or at least some of the Doc's clothing.

    I also enjoyed traveling the land with the TARDIS, and actually found a wayshrine I'd never discovered before thanks to it, which was extremely cool, as I thought I'd found everything in Oblivion. Fun mod, fully endorsed.

      Sorry for the delay! Notifications are not showing up for me (thanks new Nexus layout), so I missed this for quite a while. (I currently do support for Inigo in Skyrim.)

      Thanks! And I tried to make the layout just about as confusing as the TARDIS in the show is, which is fairly confusing, but still make it possible to navigate to the important places. I also would love to have more items and clothing from the Doctor, and more control rooms, the Architectural Configuration Room, etc. The problem is, while I can manage to adapt, reskin, and alter some meshes in Nifscope, I don't know how to make my own meshes, and I could not find any further resources/things to add that I could get permission to use. Several people said they were going to make more items for me, but it always fell through, which is why I stopped updating the mod. You can only add so many empty rooms, or rooms full of clutter from vanilla Oblivion. There is clothing in the master bedroom and the boot cupboard, but just Oblivion clothing, unfortunately.

      If you have found the art gallery, try interacting with things.
      In the master bedroom (the dome with the connected round platforms), try base-jumping from the platforms.
      Have a good look around the garden, there are some hidden entrances/exits.

      Sorry for the delay! Notifications are not showing up for me (thanks new Nexus layout), so I missed this at first. The problem with the blue one is the explosion in that room. Usually it just tosses things about, but they are still reachable, but once in a while, it will throw something through a wall, or under a piece of furniture where it really isn't reachable. If you have checked in all the alcoves, then just go ahead and console it in. The code is in the sticky above. I suppose I should have moved it to another room, but it happens very rarely, and I rather like the idea of the Doctor getting interrupted while working on the transport pad, with his tools laying about.

    Good evening.

    First off, please forgive me for not giving any feedback, I had to focus on college the previous year, and so it's been complicated to sit down and test the mod. I hope I may be able to help more this time around.

    The last time I gave a reply involved the recently mentioned TARDIS vanishing "issue", which is included in the final post on tosspot's thread below. Please excuse me for asking, but have you read that post? It is important that I hear from you on how I should continue with the debugging.

    Either way, I left below just the observations made for both you and anyone interested in testing these themselves.

    1-After the cell is cleared (when you leave it and type PCB on the console or visit two or more different cells) the TARDIS shell and door vanish when you return;

    2-Disabling either the door or the shell itself through the console automatically re-enables that object after a few seconds;

    3-When the mark (read TARDIS Mark) is located in a Worldspace(Exterior Cell), the player exits normally but neither solutions above work because the shell and door were moved to their original Worldspace (Imperial City, Green Emperor Way) at the same cell coordinates as the mark(e.g. , Tamriel 9,-20 -> ICImperialPalace 9,-20 );

    4(extra one)-Moving the TARDIS's statics to an interior cell( the testinghall cell) seems to fix issue no 3. It's a bit uncertain, though.

    I'll be sure to test further the 3rd and 4th for the moment.

    That is all. I thank you for your time.

      *sighs* I read the post long since, I just didn't have the energy to respond. I still don't. I am stealing time from sleep right now.

      A: I have been quite sick the past couple of years. I had surgery about a year ago, and the subsequent recovery has been long, and complicated, including MRSA, and a persistent internal fungal infection, if you must know. I haven't really been up to digging into the guts of the TARDIS this whole time.

      B: My computer with Oblivion and my TARDIS work on it had a meltdown. I have a new one, but I have not yet gotten Oblivion re-installed and running on it, much less the Construction Set, and (hopefully) my recovered TARDIS files and notes (provided it all survives the move).

      C: I have been packing for a major move across the country for months now, and we will be out of this house within two weeks, if all goes well, but there is DEFINITELY no time for mod development right now, nor for some time to come.

      D: My disabled mother, who I care for, has taken a turn for the worse in the last year.

      So, in summation, Real Life happened, and I have not had a chance to test your theories and ideas.

      The TARDIS is not dead, and I still support it when I can, but an update is right out for the moment, though I have not given up on the possibility in the future.

      That said, read my replies to Spasticon1 below.
      +++++++
      "... All that being said, I am the third in a line of authors for this mod (see the Credits section at the bottom of the front page), and I have no objection at all if someone else wants to pick it up where I left off, and run with it, creating another new version, with more changes and additions. If you want to make a new version, with the things you listed, and those mod dependencies, I give my permission.It would be good to see. Just give me credit for what I have done, as I did for those that came before me.

      I can't say for sure that I will never pick this up again, as I might, but I also can't promise that I will. Real life, illness, and other distractions have prevented me working on it, even if I had all of the meshes I really want (though that would greatly increase the likelihood, of course)."
      +++++++
      "... As for the Custom Location/Relocate here, if you read further down, and read more of the front page, you will find that is a known issue. I would love to have a reliable solution to that, but I haven't found one yet. That is one reason there are spells to get into the TARDIS (emergency teleport), and the Relocate Here spell makes it appear around you, so you are inside it. The shell does not always want to show up at custom locations. It has to do with when cells load, and cells not expecting persistent objects like doors to ever move from one cell to another. The preset locations are enabled/disabled, not moved, but you HAVE to move something in order for a custom location to work. I could just disable the glitchy feature, of course, but it is useful to have it, and once again, it is not unheard of for the TARDIS to decide she does not like a place, and refuse to fully materialize there, or move immediately when forced to. So, what with the glitch fitting with show cannon, and the TARDIS's personality, and it being useful despite the problems, I left it in. If you can figure out a way of making it obey consistently, please, do so, test it, and tell me how you fixed it."
      +++++++

      So if you manage to figure out how to fix that problem reliably, and make other substantial changes and/or additions to the TARDIS, you have my permission to post your own version. Just give credit, as I have. If you only fix that one thing, and it tests out reliably, if I am still not up to integrating it into a new version at that time, you have my permission to make a patch to accomplish that until I am able to integrate it.

      Oh dear...

      I am terribly sorry to have written this selfish message. I by all means meant no offense.
      I've been reading all the messages on this forum ever since my first comment here, as promised. I were aware of everything you said, but in my ignorance I could not guess the gravity.
      No words can describe how ashamed of myself I feel in continuing to force you into listening to me. After this message, you won't read anything else from me ever again.

      May your Life take a turn for the better.

      Sincerly and with humility,

      All my replies shall now be sent a great deal shorter. But please, refrain from answering them if you must. I'll be sure to not bother you any further.

      Once again, may you both recover well.

      Have a good night!
