All right, then it's normal that the blade of woe's model hasen't changed yet. The mod is made to alter its appearance only after the end of the quest.
Still, I need to know wether you can find the replica inside A Fighting Chance. It should be just to your left as you enter the shop, on a shelf. If you can find it, then you know you've got the mod working right.
Even though the Dark Brotherhood is my favorite faction and questline combination, I almost never get around to doing it, so it took awhile for me to get dissatisfied with the vanilla Blade of Woe.
I REALLY don't know how I managed to let that crap slip my mind, but I actually had edited the file to change Sufferthorn's model... in between the time I made the mod and the time I packaged it for the website... and then I was able to forget I did it...
Burn me, I dunno how.

There's an amazing Frostmourne mod from Jojjo on this very website, thought!
There are a multitude of reasons why you could get that result, NMM would probably deal away with most of them.
Second : Have you finished the Dark Brotherhood questline? This mod only gives the proposed appearance to the "empowered" blade you get at the end.
third : Can you find the dagger replica inside A Fighting Chance?
