this quest mod seems to be broken, after getting the complete tsurugi, it always asks to pick the keys to form/unform it and the ff7 settings keep adding to my inventory, any fix??
Okay, since it seems people are having trouble with the quest, here's a quick walkthrough.
1. Find the NPC in front of one of the statues(forgot which one he was at), talk to him. He gives you the quest, and you will get the map marker for the Lost Library.
2. Enter, and begin killing off the Remnants. Be prepared.
3. At the end, fight Kadaj. You should have supplies still. Upon killing him, take his sword if you want it. MAKE SURE TO LOOT THE WEAPON FROM HIS CORPSE!!!
4. RETURN TO THE NPC WHO GAVE YOU THE QUEST. He will tell you it's the Tsurugi and can repair it. He will take it. Wait one day.
5. He will give you the incomplete Tsurugi and tell you to meet up with someone. That person is on the opposite side, outside wall.
6. This NPC will tell you he needs Red Materia to fully complete the weapon. Return to the Lost Library.
7. Go all the way down to where you killed Kadaj. Wait there for a few seconds, Sephiroth takes time to reach you.
8. Kill Sephiroth. Loot his sword if you want. Be sure to take the Red Materia from him.
9. Return to the Dremora NPC. He will take the incomplete Tsurugi and Red Materia and give you Tsurugi Complete. Return to the initial NPC.
10. He will teach you how to use the weapon.
Now, this is going off of my memory, I haven't done the quest in a while, but I remember how it goes.
Ive defeated kadaj i returned back to the npc who gave me the quest and he just says u have the journal you have what u need get to the lost library basically he will not take the broken sword from my inventory.
Im having a issue where it seems as though the hotkeys arent working. I have the complete blade and I believe I set the hotkeys correctly but for some reason I cannot separate the blade ._.;;
Nice mod, only one minor niggle. The weapons are too fast, faster than daggers, and adding to their weight and changing their speed in TESedit does nothing. I'm going to keep experimenting to try and make them slower and less OP.
hey nice mod but i was curious when i was done wit the quest it said something about cload going in the the library and i cheacked the this library multibal times and i dont see what happend to cload plzzz some one tell me
I'm getting the same problem. Also, incompatability with one of the Lightsaber mods that adds off-hand sabers. I form/unform the Tsurugi and I suddenly have one of the unlit sabers 'sheathed' to my side. lol.
I'm fairly new to Oblivion modding but I still remember Morriwind - and go the CS and gonna look into a few fixes myself....if my brain doesn't explode from the attempt.
every time i form/unform it asks to pick new keys, and adds a new ff7 settings to my inventory. its really annoying. especially during combat. if you can solve this for me i'll endorse.
(before i start i want to say sory for the bad spelling) ok i am running windows 7 64 bit and i have it working completely first you need OBSE 1.9 or 19 i cant tell. you cant yous 2.0 it well not work. if you are having trouble getting OBSE to work i suggest completely uninstalling every thing that includes other mods then FOLLOWING the instructions to a cue that shod fix the problems. as far as the mod go's it works good but it has a lack of instructions.
