Hi. The game crashes on hotkey quickload but otherwise runs fine if I load any save (quickload or not) manually. Might be a conflict issue, so here I am mentioning all the mods I have used. - UOP - Unlimited Amulets - Unlimited Rings - Citadel doors fix - Destroy the dark brotherhood
LOL did you even read the description of the mod before downloading it?
"Pressing the quickload control will reset this number and quit the game, and the function is even renamed to that in the control menu. Don't say you weren't warned! Experience says the vanilla quicksave and loading a game while already playing are prone to corruption, which is why I offered these as another avenue to get rid of them. If you rely heavily on quicksave/load and never had any issues, more power to you."
Reporting back again. The mod completely borks Agarmir in the questline. It prevents him from saying anything to you other than a standard greeting once you confront him in the crypt.
So this mod partially bugs the "Unfriendly Competition" quest for me. When I went to eavesdrop on Thoronir and Agarmir's conversation, Thoronir would greet Agarmir and Agarmir would immediately say some form of "goodbye" and the conversation would not happen. I would stay frozen in place and nothing would happen so I would have to reload the game. I uninstalled the mod to and I was able to complete that section of the quest. I'm assuming this is related to the "idle chatter" part of the mod. I will add Agarmir to the exception list and see if that works.
I belive the increase damage for my fists are happening as I see armor indicator in hand to hand but I am wearing chain gauntlets with 30 frost resistance on them and that dose nit seem to be taking effect and that's not showing up under hand to hand
Hi! Is there a way to increase the time the Skill Level Up Message stays on the screen? I think this, in Oblivion, is too fast, and gets often interrupted by other messages. Peace.
Late reply but hopefully it can help someone else. One way to do it is to open MigMiscellanea.esp using TES Construction Set (File > Data > Set as Active File), then open the script zzzSkillUpMsgHandlerS (Gameplay > Edit Scripts... > Edit an Existing Script), and change...
MessageEx $sMsg 3
... to the number of seconds you want the message to stay on the screen. I'd recommend somewhere between 6-8.
Hm, I've set zzzMigckQ.bCastWhenSitting to 2 and I still can't cast spells while sitting (tested very simply by sitting on the chair in your starting cell and trying to cast Heal Minor Wounds). Is there a mod conflict or is this feature broken?
That feature is already included in Ascension. From the mod description:
All weapon and armour loot will now also have random health and enchantment charge, determined based on the inventory it is found in. NPCs skilled in Armourer can also carry items with up to 125% repair condition.
Many of Migck's tweaks have already been incorporated in Ascension. They are: - Creature Damage Fix - Creature Power Attack Fix - Random Durability and Charge - NPC Exceptional Gear
It's for MigMaster related features, which are complementary to this mod and completely optional. These features are: - Identify non-vanilla silver/mithril weapons and undead/werewolf creatures added by other mods for the silver damage bonus - Identify NPCs that are exempt from idle chatter (e.g., the emperor) from an easily customizable list (so you can add your own exempt NPCs from, say, other mods) - Adjust hand-to-hand damage based on game difficulty, target's block, and if available, AV Uncapper's Settings (this feature doesn't actually require the .esp.ini file, just MigMaster)
It's all explained in the mod's description, but here it is in case anyone else has the same question. Without MigMaster the .esp.ini file won't do anything and can be safely removed.

When I go back to Oblivion again, I'll certainly do this!
Edit: yep, value of 3 works!
