Is there any way to separate the snow weather from the aurora and set the aurora on a time frame?

About the sky dome issue. I'm not even remotely sure about this, but I think there is an OBGE addon (Physically Correct Sky?) that changes the actual curvature of the sky. This sounds like it could be the key to solving your issue. That said, many people can't or don't use OBGE, and the addon may do odd things with custom sky textures. I haven't used it myself, so this is all what I've gleaned from the readme and forums.

well thats the problem, not every one uses obge and with the advent of alenets oblivion reloaded...even few will now. The skydome is a frigging pain, its top is made of four meshes stitched at 90 degrees to each other, when I was making my weather mods, I found it a pain to design cloud textures as sometimes you could get the same cloud at right angles to an identical one. I am not sure if the parralell sky dome is any better just flatter. Might be worth a look at though....

      Hey Discovery1,
don't worry, I asked Alenet to make Physically correct Sky available for Oblivion reloaded.

    Thanks, Kpnut.

I'd actually be very impressed with it if not for the sky dome issues. Even though that particular problem isn't my fault, it does somewhat stop the mod from being everything it should be.

Nonetheless, I'm really happy with v1.1 and the new textures and alphas really came up a treat.

I wish I'd known about that problem before I made the mod.

Still, I guess I'm a rare lucky one: I can avoid the problem since I use the Perfect Weather mod and only do manual changes for snow.

Very pretty, but unfortunately it seems as though Oblivions Skydome mesh has once again become the enemy of a great mod. Many weather mods are afflicted with this, it seems. It's sad, really.

I would download this, if it wasn't for the fact that the tearing of the sky-dome annoys me to no end. :/ Still, loving the look of the double-dose version! Keep up the good work.

Brittainy, I totally adore your auroras. How I missed those northern skies after coming back from Skyrim!

    Yes, starbrow.

I just modified the existing snowy weather, so wherever that weather occurs in game, you'll get your northern lights.
